ABE ERB - Uptown Waterloo Reviews
Amazing staff and delicious lunch. Will definitely be back
They don't have mozza sticks or dill pickle spears! 😼 But the Caesar salad was to die for. It has egg. 🧐
I had my first visit here yesterday for a birthday dinner with my daughter. I had an exceptional experience, mostly due to the service Luke provided. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great celebratory time! This is the type of service that creates memories and makes people come back. The food and atmosphere were also fantastic, but I really wanted to highlight Luke.
Thank you sir!

ABE ERB - Uptown Waterloo offers a casual and friendly atmosphere, with great service from its attentive staff. Their menu features delicious burgers and sandwiches, as well as options like tacos and jerk shrimp bowls. The Beer-y-ah tacos with cilantro lime sauce are a standout item. Customers have enjoyed the Steak Frites, Salmon Bowl, and the popular Big Abe Burger. The restaurant also hosts trivia nights and has a good selection of craft beers, including the Abe Erb Lite Ale, which many have found refreshing. The service is prompt and not overbearing, with some noting that the fries come with a highly praised garlic aioli, although a few wish they were crispier. The decor is inviting and creative, adding to the fun vibe. Some dishes, like the soup and caesar salad, have received mixed reviews for being too salty. However, the overall experience remains positive, making ABE ERB a great option for a casual meal in the Waterloo area, especially on weekends. Parking at the back is a big bonus, and while reservations aren't required, Opentable can help with seating preferences.
