Big portions, quick service, good coffee. Everything we were looking for on a Saturday morning. And an old fashioned diner atmosphere.
Had a great breakfast here! We ordered Freddy's Pancakes, the Rancheros Scramble, and the Florentine. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The Rancheros Scramble could have used a bit more salsa, but overall the meal was enjoyable. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Prices are on the higher side, though I've heard they offer good weekday specials. Overall, a nice spot for breakfast or brunch and worth a visit.

Portion sizes are just the right amount. The atmosphere is very nice, cozy, and warm, with a quiet charm. Specific meals include the basic breakfast, schnitzel eggs Benedict (a tribute to the original owner), and 6oz steak and eggs. Great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Free street parking (2h) is available right outside with comfortable seating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in downtown Guelph.
