“I am absolutely speechless. I just tried one piece of baklava from Narin Pastry and it was a life-changing experience. It literally MELTS in your mouth! I was in Turkey last year and went to what is considered the best baklava spot in the country, and I can say without a doubt that this is just as good, if not better. The flakiness, the perfect sweetness, the quality... it's all there. My only wish is that this was a full-scale cafe or restaurant because if people knew how good this was, the place would be packed 24/7. I am now on a mission to try every single thing on their menu. A true, authentic gem!“

“Right beside my favourite Italian place, Crudo is a Portuguese bakery/grocery store called Caldense.
The place is not that big and has limited seating which is more ideal for a quick visits rather than long stays.
They sell some imported Portuguese groceries, freshly baked goods deli and sandwiches. They also served classic breakfast so this place is great for brunch/lunch.
I've been on a lookout for an Azorean queijadas ever since we had this in Portugal. I've looked everywhere for a place in Toronto that sells this delicious pastries but sadly they don't sell it here as well.
Had the cappucino and it was strong and smooth. Also tried their authentic pasteis de nata which was flaky and buttery but a little bit sweet for my liking.
Staff were amazing especially Nicole. Definitely a good place to try if you're around the area.“
