“Ordered the strawberry bingsu and one of the lattes. Both were very good and the large bingsu was enough for two people. It has cheesecake bites in it which was very tasty. I would recommend getting the strawberry cake bingsu to get more cake pieces because they are really good“

“Honestly, no sandwich place even comes close to Firehouse Subs. You have to try the Sweet & Spicy Meatball sub — it might just change your life. The only downside is that they’re a bit slow, and it takes a while to get your order. But trust me, it’s worth every second of the wait.“

“Don’t Yell at Me is such a cute little spot with a fun vibe. I tried the Tiramisu Tea Latte, and it honestly felt like dessert in a cup creamy, rich, and so comforting. The Osmanthus Tea Latte was lighter and floral, really refreshing. Both drinks were beautifully presented and felt unique compared to other tea places. It’s definitely a nice place to relax and sip something different.“

“I've been a customer of this restaurant since they started their branch on Bathurst St. Over the years, I've watched the business grow, and I'm always impressed by their service, food, and ambiance. The friendly staff always put a smile on my face, from ordering to finishing my meal. The restaurant continues to evolve, introducing new menu ideas and popular Filipino desserts-to-go like Taho, Buko Pandan, and Fruit Salad. Kabalen is a true gem in North York, perfect for bringing visitors to satisfy their cravings - a home away from home. One drawback though, is the accessibility. The dining area is located upstairs and the washroom is downstairs in the basement. As a result, it is not advisable for wheelchair users to dine in. Nonetheless, the establishment maintains a clean environment and is conducive for group gatherings, or for individuals like myself, who just wants to unwind after a days work.“

“Highly recommend: The Knafeh. It’s my favorite Middle Eastern dessert, and I love that they serve it on a hot cast iron plate to keep it warm. Although the texture of the phyllo pastry was a bit too thin, so it became soggy quite quickly as the ice cream melted, which was a bit of a letdown.

Overall: It’s a very cute cafe with a nice atmosphere, and a great option if you’re looking for a spot that stays open late!“

“Great friendly service, was served food pretty fast. The best fried calamari I have had yet. The chicken Slovakia dinner was so yummy. I can’t wait to try some of the other dishes they have. I Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys some real tasty Greek food.“

Decided to try this place randomly, glad I did. Their donuts are mini donuts and mine were served hot and fresh. They were pillow soft, like tasting a good quality French croissant that just came out of the oven. But the interior is well done and not a trace of batter, which is how it should be. Also very aromatic.

They have very few flavours but the cinammon sugar coated ones are themselves stellar.“

Staff is also very friendly, and conveniently located near the subway. There’s plenty of seating in the food court and Mel Lastman square is nearby.“

“Tucked away in a small food court plaza, this place is a hidden gem. I usually get the chicken wrap, and the staff are always friendly and flexible with customizations. Prices are very reasonable, with combos under $10 and generous portions. The husband and wife who run it make the place feel really welcoming. I’ve also tried the calamari and other seafood options, all very good. Open late and always consistent.“

“I've tried different Chatime stores and this is the location I keep returning to because of Blake. Every time Blake makes my drinks, I am never disappointed because they are consistent, always tastes great and made perfectly to order. The staff are also friendly and patient with my multiple orders.“
