The staff was really nice and polite.
I ordered kimchi stew with pork and it was good (needed a little more salt to my taste though) and the stir-fried noodles with rice cake, fish cake and bulgogi beef was my favorite (but I wish I ordered the spicy version!)
All in good, I left with a full tummy and felt happy! x)“

“I wanted to check out the place Mark Wiens raved about, and I wanted to try boiled, steamed and pan-fried dumplings, as well as stuffed pancakes.
While boiled dumplings (E01) from the menu were out of season, the rest lived up to expectations. Dumplings and pancakes were juicy and flavourful. This was a takeout, I’m sure the presentation of boiling and steaming hot dumplings if dined in, would be even more impressive.
Highly recommended to all dumpling lovers.“

“Soup It Up has always delivered exactly what I want from it: ruthlessly efficient service and unpretentious soup and sandwiches. Nothing more. Nothing less. Looking at earlier reviews, the complaints seem to be focused on the decline in quality over time. I've only been coming to Soup It up for the last two years, but haven't noticed any decline at all in that time. The sandwiches are particularly good value.There are better lunch options in the PATH, but these ratings are largely unfair in my view. I for one will continue to proudly and shamelessly SOUP IT UP on my lunch breaks.“

“Good food, good price, good service, i love yunnan food, me and my friends found this restaurant in downtown and we were starving. Thankfully some of their noodles have unlimited noodle refill. After dinner, they offered us free ice cream and a piece of candy and also a voucher! Great place, will definitely come back again!“

“Yesterday we had one of the best meal in this city in a long time in the city at this restaurant. We were hungry after a great candlelight concert at the nearby Metropolitan Church venue and we decided to try this place. Blown away by the food. You know the food is good when you see it. We decided to start with a Vietnamese pancake. Before even trying the food I was immediately impressed by the look and we knew the food was made by an extremely talented chef. The way the carrots were cut into beautiful threads. After trying the pancake I was seeing stars in my head. The main course that followed did not disappoint either with a grilled and smoked pork chop with a chicken breast and a delicious Chicken pho. Wow. Will come back again for sure. Not to be missed if you're in the area.“

“Four stars for Four Four lol...stopped in for a quick lunch during the work day. The braised beef noodle was decent, but not anything to write home about in my opinion. It is decent value ($16.99 downtown isn't bad), though I do think it would be nice if the portion size was just a bit larger.
What actually stood out to me was the stir fried beef with wild pepper that my friend ordered. It is a bit pricier at $21.99 but it came with a LOT of meat, with a nice velvety texture and a ton of flavour. That being said it is on the spicier side that slow burns so be careful if you can't handle spice. If I were to come back I think I would get this (but maybe ask them if they can tone down the spice a bit).
Service is pretty lacking here. There's pretty much one woman who seems to be doing most of the serving. She is nice though - you'll just have to flag her down to get her attention if you need something. Note there is an auto gratuity of 18% if you're a group of five or more, so I would maybe stick to coming with a group of four or less 😂.

“We came here specifically to try their chicken spice bag. We never had it before and for a first time having it, we loved it. The spices pulled everything together and loved how tasty the chicken and onions were. Would definitely get this again and so good chicken spice bags are in the city for us to try!“

“Great healthy option in the food court. The sandwiches are great, but the salads are my favorite. Light yet filling and full of protein. Service is always really fast and the portions are generous.
Little pro tip: You can go on their website, to their nutrition tab, and calculate the exact nutritional breakdown of your meal.“

“Everything is pretty good except the absence of service in some respects. May as well be self serve with having to order everything from your phone and TIP IN ADVANCED before getting any service. Food is good, service ended up being fine. Not a fan of barcode menu and online orders especially the pre service and food tip.“

“Their soups are absolutely delicious and addictive, best part is they are not oily at all!! The noodle bowls are packed with large portion of heathy and tasty vegetables and meat (for the ones with meat). I always save some of the bone soups and drink it by itself (without putting it into the noodle bowl), sooooo tasty by itself also, not like other bone broth I’ve tried from other places which all taste very blend. Highly recommend!!!“

“The service was fantastic, they were quick and attentive in a way that didn't feel rushed or awkward. The food and wine pairings were fantastic. The only downsides were how loud it is in there, and the fact our venison was peppered to levels I didn't even know existed.“

“We stumbled upon Bar Wellington by accident, and we are so happy we did 😊great pint of beer and the food ? Wow, not your typical pub grub we had the mussels and the flavour in the broth was next level, the bugger was juicy and flavoursome and the house fries we excellent to, the place is family friendly. “I went there for the first time around noon and bought three things: doubles, pholorie, and a ginger beer (Solo). First off ,the doubles were fresh and warm, with the taste of all the spices natural flavors mixed with sweet and spicy bursting in my mouth. In just three bites, it was gone. Next, the pholorie was also fresh, having just come out of the fryer—exactly how I like my food: hot. The tamarind sauce was sweet and spicy; that too was amazing. As for the Solo, it was full-bodied and strong in ginger, even better than Canada Dry ginger ale.“

“We ordered Pad Thai with chicken one night as there was a 2 for 1 deal on Door Dash. Who knew it woukd be the best Pad Thai I have had in Toronto!! Perfect heat and just simply delicious and flavourful! Can’t wait gave it again soon, this time we will dine in to try other things on the menu!!“
