The staff was really nice and polite.
I ordered kimchi stew with pork and it was good (needed a little more salt to my taste though) and the stir-fried noodles with rice cake, fish cake and bulgogi beef was my favorite (but I wish I ordered the spicy version!)
All in good, I left with a full tummy and felt happy! x)“

“All the dumplings are made to order. Literally rolled when you order. So fresh. So good. Worth the extra little wait. Staff are very friendly. They can speak Mandarin.
May have to wait 20-30 minutes on weekends. Most tables are shared.
Free WiFi. No credit card surcharge. Cash preferred.

“Oxtail Pho & Banh Mi is the kind of place I keep walking into late at night and finding empty, and every time it makes me mad on their behalf.
This place should be packed.
The food is so good, the portions are massive, and they don’t cut corners on quality. The banh mi is incredible. There’s so much filling it can barely stay inside the bread, but the ratio still works: meat, vegetables, seasoning, texture, everything. Their tofu is fantastic, and I love their pho. The broth actually tastes like someone cared.
There’s nothing fancy about the room. It’s bare bones, late-night, no-nonsense Vietnamese food. The staff are always sweet and friendly, and in the summer they might serve you, then step outside for a cigarette. Some people might not love that. Personally, I respect it. That is ambience.
It’s open late, the servings are generous, and the food hits exactly the way you want it to.
I don’t have much else to say except this place is a gem. Go eat there. Fill the room. Order the banh mi. Get the pho. Tip well.

“Soup It Up has always delivered exactly what I want from it: ruthlessly efficient service and unpretentious soup and sandwiches. Nothing more. Nothing less. Looking at earlier reviews, the complaints seem to be focused on the decline in quality over time. I've only been coming to Soup It up for the last two years, but haven't noticed any decline at all in that time. The sandwiches are particularly good value.There are better lunch options in the PATH, but these ratings are largely unfair in my view. I for one will continue to proudly and shamelessly SOUP IT UP on my lunch breaks.“
“Yesterday we had one of the best meal in this city in a long time in the city at this restaurant. We were hungry after a great candlelight concert at the nearby Metropolitan Church venue and we decided to try this place. Blown away by the food. You know the food is good when you see it. We decided to start with a Vietnamese pancake. Before even trying the food I was immediately impressed by the look and we knew the food was made by an extremely talented chef. The way the carrots were cut into beautiful threads. After trying the pancake I was seeing stars in my head. The main course that followed did not disappoint either with a grilled and smoked pork chop with a chicken breast and a delicious Chicken pho. Wow. Will come back again for sure. Not to be missed if you're in the area.“

“Oh my god!! Ive lived in the area for years and never thought to come here. I love Chinese food but all the chain places have gotten so cheap with their ingredients that there’s barely any real meat in their meals. This tasted so real and fresh, I’ll be coming back“

“Not the best quality in terms of taste, but not affordable either. Chicken on rice & wraps are quite dry. Portions are small for other sandwiches. Dips are not bad, but nothing special either. Their pita is nice but not worth the price. I could only recommend phoenician fries & falafel wrap.“

“Great healthy option in the food court. The sandwiches are great, but the salads are my favorite. Light yet filling and full of protein. Service is always really fast and the portions are generous.
Little pro tip: You can go on their website, to their nutrition tab, and calculate the exact nutritional breakdown of your meal.“

“We stumbled upon Bar Wellington by accident, and we are so happy we did 😊great pint of beer and the food ? Wow, not your typical pub grub we had the mussels and the flavour in the broth was next level, the bugger was juicy and flavoursome and the house fries we excellent to, the place is family friendly. We will definitely be back.“

“I went there for the first time around noon and bought three things: doubles, pholorie, and a ginger beer (Solo). First off ,the doubles were fresh and warm, with the taste of all the spices natural flavors mixed with sweet and spicy bursting in my mouth. In just three bites, it was gone. Next, the pholorie was also fresh, having just come out of the fryer—exactly how I like my food: hot. The tamarind sauce was sweet and spicy; that too was amazing. As for the Solo, it was full-bodied and strong in ginger, even better than Canada Dry ginger ale.“

“I’ve had a lot of great food around Toronto, but this was the best meal I’ve tasted on my entire trip! Everything tasted so fresh. The flavors were popping and paired perfectly with one another! The staff was so incredibly friendly and gluten-conscious. I highly recommend this place to everyone! 🤗“
