“We live close by and have heard great things about this restaurant from our neighbours so we wanted to give it a try. We’re so glad we did! It was great! We were welcomed with a happy greeting and big smiles as we walked in by the staff and chef. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The place itself was very clean and organized. There was AC so it was nice and cool. You can also dine in or take out. They had many options in the menu from patties, jerk chicken poutine, oxtail, pasta, goat curry and many more delicious dishes. The price was reasonable in my opinion, they offered small, medium, and large for sizing. We ordered the jerk chicken poutine and the oxtail with rice and beans and coleslaw. They’re very generous with the meat and it was all so tasty! My boyfriend and I loved it. I highly recommend this place!! So glad we found our new go to close by. “It was the second time which we ordered our brunch via Ubereat within a week. We chose this cafe because we had tried its combo dinner recently and it left us with good impression.

We ordered two sets of breakfast, with one being the fried filet with 2 sausages and fried eggs as well as a butter toast, the other being the satay beef macaroni with egg sandwich. Of course, the drinks were also included in the set and we have tea and coffee. As compared with those of other similar cafes, their portions were much larger. On the whole, they were deicious except the sausages and the coffee.

Given the prices at around $17 and $16 for the filet and the beef and their portion, the food quality and their tastefulness, it is money worth.“

“I’ve been to Ho Ban Korean Restaurant more than five times, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are always friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in and are always happy to help with anything you need.

The food is consistently good, and the service never disappoints. I also appreciate how clean and well-kept the restaurant is, including the washroom. It’s clear that they take pride in both their food and customer service.

Best thing about this place is the clay pots are geared to individual consumption and each person can order their own separate clay pot with their personally chosen ingredients. Asides from ingredients, one can further customize by asking for glutinous instead of regular rice and the level of crispness! I asked for half regular/half glutinous rice and extra crispy bottom! Meal comes with soup and veggies on the side. Soup can be swapped out for a can of pop at no additional charge! (Scarborough location). This place is a hidden gem and truly value for money.“
