Favourites Thai is truly one of Toronto’s GOAT’d restaurants.
It’s one of those places where’s it’s Iykyk. Everything on the menu is good. But my personal favourites:
- ceviche
- oysters
- chicken wings
- picanha steak
- lamb chops
- beef tartare (spicy)
- Duck curry (worth the trip alone)
Wine bar has amazing selections and cocktails are some of my favorites in the city.

3/4 dishes we got blew us away.
Lamb chops - Incredible, that tamarind sauce pairs like something I’ve never had before
Oysters - great Thai twist with the added flavours
Chicken wings - The other countless reviews speak for themselves they’re that good
Hiramasa Jungle Curry - This was a miss. I thought the curry needed to be more rich to balance the fish, and the okra was under-cooked.

The service was fast and friendly, even giving some small free drink appetizers and post desert drinks since we were celebrating.
Restaurant got crowded and loud fast, but still has a nice, but minimalist ambiance.
The food:
