I was a bit skeptical when I saw the menu as it seemed pretty standard. However, as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. When I sampled the Accra and Grio I was blown away. Really tasty, well seasoned and succulent pork! I will definitely be back!

A wonderful surprise. We had the Haitian Fried Chicken, macaroni au gratin, cashew chicken with rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The sweet potato rum cake surprised us both.

Move over all my usual Caribbean go-to’s — and trust me, I’ve tried plenty because I’m always craving Caribbean flavours. I officially have a new favourite. Yes, it’s in the west end and a bit of a trek for us east enders, but it’s absolutely worth it. We went to celebrate my son’s birthday, and he chose it knowing we’re all serious foodies and love Caribbean cuisine.
