The restaurant combines omakase with a chef's table small group experience, allowing diners to watch the chefs prepare beautiful food in front of them. The superb fish is expertly prepared and served in a warm, friendly setting. The sushi is delicious, and the sake pairing is consistently stellar, enhancing the meal. Guests can enjoy approximately 16 courses of sushi, starting with a four-item appetizer, and can opt for the added supplement of caviar and Uni, which are highly praised. The intimate setting with limited seats at the bar makes it a cozy and special place for a memorable dining experience. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well cared for. The restaurant’s seasonal menu changes keep the offerings fresh and exciting, and the fresh sashimi, sweet and creamy uni, and well-balanced rice contribute to a satisfying meal. Despite being a bit crowded at times, the quality of food and service remains above standard, making Yasu Toronto one of the best places in the GTA for celebrating special occasions or enjoying a quiet, memorable dinner. The beautiful renovation and excellent service enhance the overall experience, making it a favorite spot for many diners.
