Really great food, lovely patio, buzzy but not impossible to have a conversation. Very nice vibe. Menu is not overwhelming; the focus is on making great food, with a focus on French cuisine. Very good wine by the glass too, and reasonably priced. Since we discovered it, Parquet has become one of our regulars.
Outstanding yet unpretentious food. You can see why they are acknowledged by Michelin. Every detail, from the staff to the decor, makes for a warm and satisfying experience.
We had a wonderful evening at Parquet, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary (just the two of us)!The menu was enticing and all of our choices were delicious. A memorable meal, made more so by the warm, hospitable and incredibly efficient staff.

Parquet is a highly recommended restaurant featuring a great patio and beautiful interior. The food, from cocktails to desserts, is excellent, with fantastic service. The menu includes classic dishes with creative twists, such as lemon shrimp on lobster butter risotto, steak frites, lamb pasta dish, and steak tartar, all prepared perfectly. The restaurant offers a wonderful and memorable dining experience whether seated inside or on the patio. The staff are casually professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, creating a warm atmosphere. The French cocktails, especially the pisco, blueberry, and citrus wonder, are a highlight. While the shrimp small plate can be salty and the mushroom pasta is rich, overall the food is exceptional, made with high-quality ingredients expertly prepared. The patio is nicely covered and offers a pleasant cross breeze, though diners should be aware of the sun’s position around 7 pm. Parquet is a great choice for a date night or a gathering with friends and family, providing a friendly yet classy atmosphere without any snobbery. Some diners have noted feeling rushed during their meal, especially at dessert, but with an impressive wine list and a menu that allows for both casual dinners and special occasions, Parquet remains one of the favorite restaurants in Toronto.
