Kiyomi is a terrific choice for omakase. The ambiance and design of the restaurant is beautiful. The food is delicious and prepared fresh live with thought and care. Each dish has well constructed flavour combinations. The sushi omakase dinner is fantastic, with a varied, skillfully prepared, and beautifully presented menu. Sushi rice is light and almost fluffy while being characteristically chewy. High quality ingredients like fresh uni, fatty tuna, and Hokkaido scallop add a silky luxuriousness. The tempura tasting omakase is the best ever, offering a sensational experience. Each piece of tempura carries a light, wispy shell. The Japanese tiger prawn and scallops are unforgettable bites, joyfully sweet. The matsutake is a showstopper, squirting out earthy and umami flavours. The sashimi is exquisite, with delicate and fresh flavours. The otoro is a favourite for its buttery, rich textures. Service is professional, pleasant, and friendly. The sushi chef is an entertaining host. For a relatively affordable price, Kiyomi offers indulgent courses of thoughtful appetizers, fresh seafood, and a grilled cut of tuna. It ends with juicy cantaloupe, Shine Muscat grapes, and matcha ice cream. A little gem of a restaurant, cosy and charming. Highly recommend Kiyomi for a memorable omakase experience.
