Elle Cuisine did an amazing job and the clients were "blown away" to see that the snacks were customised to their values. The selection of options and presentation was great. She paid attention to all of the details and executed cocktail hour, dinner service and late night eats flawlessly. I asked about the soup of the day and was promptly offered a taste by the friendly chef. Had the medium soup as well--a delicious rich soup with yams and coconut milk. Now I have a new favorite lunch spot.“

“Lola's Catering makes good on a promise.
I ordered 500 Puff Puffs for a work event. They were willing to take the order over the phone. I went in person for my own peace of mind. The lady at the front was patient while I finalized the order and offered no concerns with the 24hr turn around. The Puff Puffs were consistent and tastee. Those familiar with Puff Puffs enjoyed it and for others it was a great introduction to this wonderful West African snack. I would definitely use their catering services again.
Lola's also has take out snacks. I particularly enjoy the chicken sausage rolls. I also enjoyed their scotched eggs. I was not a fan of the fish sausage roll or the akara but that is a me thing, as I am only now learning to expand my pallet for Nigerian foods.
I want to address comments about their customer service. The five times I have been there I have typically walked away feeling indifferent to the service. It is neither the best nor did I feel unattended to. In fact I am thankful to the gentleman for taking his time to explain the snacks to me and engaging my banter with him. Lola's staff cares. It is evident in the quality of the food and their patience with a neophyte like myself. Cheers! Looking forward to repeated visits.“

“Someone dear in my family purchased an Easter cake as a special treat for our Easter dinner dessert. It was really a most pretty work of art on the outside. BUT, as a veteran family cake baker, I was unimpressed with the qualilty and taste of the product as something to eat and savour. The cake itself was dry and tasteless with little resemblance to a propoer carrot cake. The overly generous icing was even worse leaving the palate with a sticky feel that smacked of pure lard or shortenng but decidedly not butter. Just gross! Anyone who thinks this is a fabulous cake has never eaten homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, or has no taste at all. So, B and B, do stick to decorating I'd say.“

The secret sauce is the jams and the granola, what a heavenly mix. I bought a bag of the granola and I sprinkle that on everything at home … It’s that good.

When I go back next week, I’m trying a new flavour AND I’m buying the big bag of the granola. What a fun benefit of having an office so close!“

All the plates were surprising yet nostalgic at the same time. Dishes were served by the chef himself too. My only critique was the crispy pata skin was a tad tough but this is an easy fix. As a Filipino I’m glad to see our cuisine highlighted in fine dining. Can’t wait to see more from Kusinero.“

The ordering process was smooth, they were very quick and responsive over email, they accommodated all dietary restrictions easily, and the cost was very reasonable! They were on time, food was hot and well labeled, and we received many compliments! Would definitely order again.“

Cost was just over $14 so it's what you would expect downtown. The schnitzel tasted pretty good and I had no complaints on a quick sandwich. The facilities were clean and well maintained.“
