“I only leave reviews for what i think is outstanding. I live out of town and was at St Joseph's hospital for a few days for family member. Just googled restaurants near the hospital... and WOW what a find! Interior is lovely. Cozy. And the food was spectacular. I had the Laal Mans Combo (spicy curry goat with rice roti and very small salad). The goat was amazing! I like spice but not super hot and it was perfect for me. What also amazed me, strangely enough, was the rice. I even had to ask what spices they used in it. I was surprised by the answer but I'm not going to give away their secret. Service was fab too... but I went quite early so the there weren't a lot of patrons.“

“It was my first time there, as I am not from Scarborough, but met my friend who lives nearby. We both had the peameal bacon breakfast. It said 8 oz. of peameal served. It came with 4 super thick slices. I'm thinking more like 10 oz. minimum!!! Potatoes were grilled, not deep fried, and my eggs were perfect!!!! Great server!!!!! I will go there again just for a road trip!!! One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I highly recommend!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+!!!!!!“

Turkish breakfast platter was a 9/10 since it was good but they only put half a bagel?

Watermelon hibiscus 7/10 for my friend but I would rate it a 3/10. It’s not sweet at all, nearly flavourless, and you barely taste the hibiscus.
Lemonade 1000/10 but maybe because I’m a sour girly?
Chefs have high hair up but not in a net which is not my favourite but that’s okay! No problems with hair in my food.

Recommend it to anyone walking to through Kensington!“

“Nice spot on the Danforth if you want a light lunch. There’s a small patio. Cafeteria style. We ordered a BLT and a grilled sandwich - black forest ham and Swiss cheese. They were both tasty but a little on the expensive side for simple sandwiches. The food was good so we’ll visit again and definitely recommend to others.“

We ordered the Eggstatic Steak & Eggs, Eggstatic Tomato Jacket, Classic Middle Eastern Breakfast with Hummus Foul Bowl, Blueberry Pancakes, and Belgian Waffle. “Eggspectation was an excellent start to our morning. The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern, with a welcoming atmosphere that made it a great spot for breakfast.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The omelette was packed with fresh vegetables, the fruit was ripe and refreshing, and they had no problem accommodating a simple grilled chicken request for extra protein. The classic breakfast was cooked perfectly, with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy breakfast potatoes, tasty sausages, and delicious strawberry crepes that were light and not overly sweet.

Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our food came out quickly, and everything we requested was handled without issue.

“This was actually the first brunch spot I went to as a teen. I came here all the time back then but stopped when I moved. Went back recently with my mom and they still do not disappoint. Food is very good and reasonably priced. We ordered avocado toast and pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and good. Very friendly Portuguese owners.“
