“I just had the most wonderful breakfast. My daughter's friend recommended the Burger Skillet, and it didn't disappoint. Was incredibly tasty, nicely paired with potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce and green onions with a nice sauce. My regards to Izzy, the talented chef who assembled my amazing breakfast!!
I often frequent this location because of the terrific staff that works here. Super friendly, always giving their best service, even during busy times. It amazes me on just how much they juggle during a shift. Not always easy to do and I truly appreciate all their hard work.

“My friend and I often go for breakfast on Friday mornings to the Sunset Grill. The service is always fast accurate and friendly. On our last visit, we had a lovely waitress named Allie, who took care of our order. During our visit she was especially attentive and returned to refill our coffee and asked how our food was as well as if she could bring HP sauce or hot sauce. It’s unusual to enjoy such superb service! We have found that the food is always delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this location.“

“The owner/chef used to be the head chef at a fine Italian restaurant so all the dishes are good and some are exceptional - like most of the soups from the soup of the day and the breakfast dishes.“

“Came in here after a long day at the Toronto Zoo and was so pleasantly surprised! This is a hidden gem of Filipino food! Prices are very reasonable and the food is very very amazing!!! “My husband and I went to Eggsmart on Avenue Road just south of the 401, Toronto. We were greeted and seated right away. Coffee and water came immediately and was most welcomed. The menu is enticing and easy to use. Food is presented in an attractive manner and everything tasted delicious. Our server, Alex, was friendly and highly competent at his job. “I have driven past Ted's many, many times over the years and I've been meaning to stop in for a meal but didn't make it there until recently. It was worth the wait!

The place has an old-school charm, looking a little worn, but warm and inviting. Some of that worn ambiance is purposeful, and contributes to its appeal as a popular spot for filming TV shows, such as The Handmaid's Tale, Orphan Black, Nikita, Lost Girl, commercials, and many other productions.

Their menu is simple and straightforward, offering classic breakfast items and typical diner fare. I settled on their 8oz Minced Sirloin Steak, served with Mushrooms, Gravy, Green Peas, Country Fries, and a Salad. That's a lot of food for under $16.00!

The portions were very generous, and the flavours were good. This was a good meal, with really good service. I'll definitely be back to try their burgers, and all-day breakfast.
