“Never thought to pay a visit here but was looking for a local greasy spoon to support - came here for breakfast and noticed that a lot of line men and construction crew come here so you know you’re in for some good value and decent food. I was shocked to know that I was able to order wings so early in the morning but decided to be that person and try something new while sharing a breakfast platter. Food was fresh, made to order and service was fast and friendly. Happy to know that they are open on the weekends so there’s more opportunities for me to swing on by to support a small local business“

“Had breakfast 3 of us. Excellent! Service was attentive, and pleasant. Food was hot, tasty, well prepared. Loved their home fries (real sliced cooked potatoes, with onion and chopped green peppers). Atmosphere was exceptionally clean, relaxed. So pleased to have this place close by in our neighbourhood.“

“There are no gluten free options on the menu. The very friendly staff very kindly created a Philly Cheese Steak plate so I could avoid eating the bun. It was delicious and included the lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo as a side plate so I could add them at my discretion. I highly recommend Sam's Kitchen!“

“It was a great place for breakfast / brunch/lunch. The staff are friendly and quick. We had only 1.5 hours time frame for lunch. We reserved the table ahead of time. The food came quickly with good quality. Lots of choices on the menu, especially with fresh fruits. Overall, the prices are reasonable, especially the kid's meals. The atmosphere is good and clean. Lots of parking spaces outside as it is in the big plaza.“

“The owner/chef used to be the head chef at a fine Italian restaurant so all the dishes are good and some are exceptional - like most of the soups from the soup of the day and the breakfast dishes.“

“My friend and I often go for breakfast on Friday mornings to the Sunset Grill. The service is always fast accurate and friendly. On our last visit, we had a lovely waitress named Allie, who took care of our order. During our visit she was especially attentive and returned to refill our coffee and asked how our food was as well as if she could bring HP sauce or hot sauce. It’s unusual to enjoy such superb service! We have found that the food is always delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this location.“

“Sisig is the best and a must try. We also enjoyed their lechon paksiw. Service was awesome from the staff, very friendly and accommodating. I also had some take outs of Spanish bread and empanada and can't wait to try it. I enjoyed my iced late too.“

“My husband and I went to Eggsmart on Avenue Road just south of the 401, Toronto. We were greeted and seated right away. Coffee and water came immediately and was most welcomed. The menu is enticing and easy to use. Food is presented in an attractive manner and everything tasted delicious. Our server, Alex, was friendly and highly competent at his job. Definite management potential.“

“A Scarborough Breakfast staple if you are wanting a large portion, great service and bottomless coffee. Panagio's is always the spot to meet friends and relax on an early morning Saturday or Sunday. The restaurant is always busy, but we never feel rushed to leave and vacate a table. The staff is attentive and constantly checking in without being bothersome. My only complaint is 1 washroom/stall each for men/woman. It's perpetually busy and just never feels clean. So keep that in mind if you have alot to drink and a heavy breakfast and are thinking you can get into the bathroom quickly. Overall, one of the best spots in Scarborough. I am glad they survived!“

“What a pleasant Brunch. Lillian was our server when she topped our coffee she remembered one of the guests took decaf and brought 2 pots. “Well the six of us just finished up our breakfast at Kathryns Diner. The server was lovely. Fast, efficient and pleasant. Our son had an omelette. We had peameal sandwich and a western. Coleslaw on the side. Our grand-daughter had a bagel with a fruit cup. All our meals were delicious. We had two fruit cups and there were six different fruits in the large cup. The price was right! Definitely, give it a try. The lunch and dinner menus look inviting too.“
