“it was a positive and negative first visit. lovely placed when we showed up. order was taken within a couple minutes. half hour later, not seeing our waitress the whole time, had to ask the other one if she could see what was going on with our order. she immediately seated us at a better order and took our order again. the original waitress then came over interrogating us on whether we just made a whole different order. I explained the situation. she read what she thought was our order, and it wasn't. when she finally came back with our food she claimed the order ticket had fallen on the ground. no apologies, simply excuse after excuse. even after all that, something as simple as she didn't bring the gravy yet also charged for that. I would recommend to the kitchen to put the fruit in a bowl as it made a plate full of liquid under the rest of my breakfast. the food was absolutely delicious and the one waitress was very helpful. but I probably won't return after this experience. hoping it's just a one off bad day“

This brunch was amazing! The grilled cheese with crispy potatoes and coleslaw was so tasty, and the cinnamon pancakes were soft, sweet, and topped with the perfect amount of icing. Everything looked and tasted great such a cozy and delicious meal.

If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot with a relaxed atmosphere and amazing food, Sunset Grill is the place. We keep coming back, and it never disappoints and really good customer service.“

“A couple of days a go we stopped by Eggsmart in Whitby on Victoria and had a great experience. The food came out hot and fresh, the portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade. What really made the visit stand out was our waitress, Tana. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us at the right times without hovering. She kept everything moving smoothly and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down.
If you want a solid breakfast or brunch spot with great service, I definitely recommend Eggsmart. Ask for Tana if you can.“

“Overall positive experience. A very large breakfast place that was surprisingly empty when I went in. The single waitress was exceptional, I wish I grabbed her name.

Menu selections were very good. I ordered the big breakfast and it was great. Sausages were a little bit greasy, but I’m willing to overlook that for the quality of the rest of the breakfast.

Would return, this place should be doing surprisingly well with the prices and food“

“I like the prices from the menu but I still think they’re a bit behind some of the other competitors like Stacked and Crepe Castle. The home fries are not really the best like some reviews affirm… it’s an Okay place… today I had the big breakfast and was disappointed with the service I received, the waitress didn’t ask me once if I wanted a coffee top up…! Not until I was finished eating… go figure?!?“

“Well the six of us just finished up our breakfast at Kathryns Diner. The server was lovely. Fast, efficient and pleasant. Our son had an omelette. We had peameal sandwich and a western. Coleslaw on the side. Our grand-daughter had a bagel with a fruit cup. All our meals were delicious. We had two fruit cups and there were six different fruits in the large cup. The price was right! Definitely, give it a try. The lunch and dinner menus look inviting too.“
