“Just your basic breakfast diner, but the food is what you expect and it tastes good! Portions are good but what sets it apart from other generic breakfast spots was the friendly and efficient service we received. It was busy with only 1 waitress but she was on top of everything and did it with a smile. I would visit again.“

“A couple of days a go we stopped by Eggsmart in Whitby on Victoria and had a great experience. The food came out hot and fresh, the portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade. What really made the visit stand out was our waitress, Tana. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us at the right times without hovering. She kept everything moving smoothly and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down.
If you want a solid breakfast or brunch spot with great service, I definitely recommend Eggsmart. Ask for Tana if you can.“

Chris, our server, was friendly, very accommodating (my daughter requested numerous substitutions), checked in on us and chatted with us about the restaurant, cats, fudge and answered all my daughter's many questions. “it was a positive and negative first visit. lovely placed when we showed up. order was taken within a couple minutes. half hour later, not seeing our waitress the whole time, had to ask the other one if she could see what was going on with our order. she immediately seated us at a better order and took our order again. the original waitress then came over interrogating us on whether we just made a whole different order. I explained the situation. she read what she thought was our order, and it wasn't. when she finally came back with our food she claimed the order ticket had fallen on the ground. no apologies, simply excuse after excuse. even after all that, something as simple as she didn't bring the gravy yet also charged for that. I would recommend to the kitchen to put the fruit in a bowl as it made a plate full of liquid under the rest of my breakfast. the food was absolutely delicious and the one waitress was very helpful. but I probably won't return after this experience. hoping it's just a one off bad day“

“We decided to try out Rougezilla tonight, and it did not disappoint! For appetizers we had dynamite shrimp and calamari, both phenomenal! I had the classic bacon and cheese and my partner just had the classic burgers on charcoal buns. They were the best burgers we have ever had! Highly recommended!!“
