“This morning I came in with my friend and his family. We had a young child with us. Megan served us during our visit. Before I can get into reviewing the food, what an asset Eggsmart has at this location. Her service is beyond those that I’ve dealt with at 5 star locations. Shes absolutely amazing and so pleasant. I can tell you that we will be coming back and dealing with her again! Love it.The food was great. Good portions and priced accordingly. But I must stress that the service really changes the experience. We were at the Eggsmart in Oshawa, not the best service so we originally didn’t want deal with Eggsmart as a whole anymore. Megan changed the mindset. I’m happy we came today. Thank you once again“

“What can we say. This place is a gem. Every weekend there is a random comment in the household about visiting sun fire for breakfast. Really wish they had a loyalty program. Ok coming to the review, the staff are super friendly and the food is fabulous. They accommodated our toddler all too nicely and set the bar really high. We left with such high spirits that we found even the customers to be friendly. Will visit again!!“

The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful.
However our waitress was exceptional….

“I love a great breakfast and white apron is my new favorite. The food was awesome no cheaping out by these folks and the value would put anything else in Durham to shame it wasn't the cheapest place due to the quality of the food and the portions but it was far less expensive than the chain stores or the higher end restaurants. This place is a hidden gem 5 minutes from my house and after 12 years here I just found it. Don't miss it ? me I did“

“I have been to Teddy's many times over the years. Surprised I've never left a review. Be prepared on a weekend or a weekday during the lunch rush to have a lineup to get in. Yes it's that good, and it's worth the wait.

The line generally moves quick and you can choose from one of their many dishes. This time we opted for:

BBQ Beef Melt with roast potatoes
Clubhouse and coleslaw
Pizza Burger with roast potatoes

All of the portions were enormous. The open face pizza food was superb. The BBQ Beef Melt was loaded with meat on a fresh bun.

We didn't get any pie this time but I'm a huge fan of the strawberry pie and my other half loves the coconut cream pie. It's 10/10.“

Despite the name they serve much more than breakfast..
This is a family Diner..
Everyday they have a different 'Special' on.
Last Friday the 'Special' was
Fish and Chips..
Delicious
The prices are very reasonable in these expensive times..

If you've never been here I do recommend this excellent Diner.
There are plenty of tables with padded seats..
There's three big-screen T.V.'s..
This is a very clean restaurant with large, floor to ceiling windows creating a warm, natural light which add's to the aesthetics and home-like charm to this delightful Family Restaurant..

“it was a positive and negative first visit. lovely placed when we showed up. order was taken within a couple minutes. half hour later, not seeing our waitress the whole time, had to ask the other one if she could see what was going on with our order. she immediately seated us at a better order and took our order again. the original waitress then came over interrogating us on whether we just made a whole different order. I explained the situation. she read what she thought was our order, and it wasn't. when she finally came back with our food she claimed the order ticket had fallen on the ground. no apologies, simply excuse after excuse. even after all that, something as simple as she didn't bring the gravy yet also charged for that. I would recommend to the kitchen to put the fruit in a bowl as it made a plate full of liquid under the rest of my breakfast. the food was absolutely delicious and the one waitress was very helpful. but I probably won't return after this experience. hoping it's just a one off bad day“

“Went during happy hour and the place was not crowded. The restaurant was fresh smelly and very clean. Unfortunately, it was very cold and frigid in the restaurant. The portioned were great. The food was good something to keep you coming back but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, we had to request cutlery. Our server Komsomol was excellent.“

So juicy the Fries and also the Scramble eggs soo soft.
