“This is a great little gem in Toronto's Junction neighborhood. The brunch was delicious. We had the specials. Their home fries are the most unique and delicious fries I have ever eaten. They also have a cool waitlist option that they use to seat their guests. The servers are very polite and friendly.“

“It is a great hidden French beakary/restaurant. They have a small menu but their food, pastries and drinks selection is great and tasty. Prices are reasonable for being Toronto $$$. Staff is friendly and attentive, especially with kids. A drawback, the location is small and noisy, this is unfortunate because conversations, in case you plan starting long, get loud and unpleasant . In a nutshell, it is hidden gem for those looking to experience authentic everyday French cuisine.“

“LOVE this place! The most delicious burrittos I've ever had! AND had to take 1/2 of them home as they were so filling. I had the shrimp while my friend had the smoked lamb and we shared them. Both were excellent. We loved sitting at the window table and watching everyone on College St. walk by with their dogs. Also $10 for a glass of Prosecco!?! Bargain! Decent prices and great service and atmosphere. We will be back. PS. Great place to hang out before a show at The Royal Theatre literally steps away.“

“We hosted our wedding shower here recently and highly recommend Blooming Batter for all bridal showers, baby showers or special events!
The space is naturally beautiful and airy; the staff were so hospitable and kept the mimosas and good vibes flowing all event long.
From the bottom of our hearts, my fiance and I would love to extend a special thanks to co-owners, Jen, Suzie as well as the entire staff at Blooming Batter for all their support, generosity and hospitality. Everyone had a great time and can't stop talking about how lovely the space, staff and food were! We couldn't have pulled it off any better and we are so happy with how it turned out! Very grateful for the experience and will be sure to visit again in the future ❤“

“Literally a hidden gem in old Toronto area, we ended up going there for a brunch as on a rainy Sunday morning the place where we wanted to go had 45 minutes waiting list, however was so glad that happened so we were able to experience this place, 10/10 food and for the price its definitely worth it, will definitely go back!!!!!“

Server caught that what I initially ordered would include an allergen exposure - (dish normally comes with an allergen as a topping that I had asked to be left off - but the server confirmed that the dish was actually ALSO marinated in that allergen so impossible to remove). Ordered a different main item which was tasty. Corn fritters and Tater tots both very tasty.“

“A cute find in the Kensington area. It is advertised as a Turkish brunch, and it does have Turkish platters and beverages, but it looks like it Portuguese-managed and in a Portuguese-like neighbourhood 😀
Food was delicious and perfectly sized, the tea complements the meal well - it's has an intimate bistro feel.“

“Had such a fantastic time grabbing breakfast here on Bay Street. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. I was especially impressed by the seasoned potatoes served alongside every dish; they were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of fresh herbs.
The coffee was rich and hit the spot. Everything arrived quickly, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. I will definitely be back to try more from the menu soon.“
