“The restaurant is in a beautiful space, close to public transportation. The food is delicious and made with quality ingredients. The portions are good. I got the Moroccan Scramble with tofu, and it was amazing! The staff is excellent, attentive and friendly. Even though they were packed, I got my food pretty quickly. I most definitely recommend this spot.“
“Queen Street is such an interesting street. However, in this part of the long street many businesses have closed, which makes it feel a bit sketchy. Even so there's evidence of long established family run businesses, so I hope time will be good that there's continued success and revival. The restaurant is renovated nicely, seating is geared for small groups of one to four. The menu is eclectic with interesting food pairings. I would definitely return. I'm a sucker for eggs Benedict, paired with mushrooms and avocado; yummmm! Door is a bit sticky, so give a strong tug to open. Wait staff is very welcoming and friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible as there are 4-5 rather high steps to enter restaurant.“
“This is a great little gem in Toronto's Junction neighborhood. The brunch was delicious. We had the specials. Their home fries are the most unique and delicious fries I have ever eaten. They also have a cool waitlist option that they use to seat their guests. The servers are very polite and friendly.“
“I always wanted to come here for brunch every time I passed by. Honestly I was so impressed by the flavor. I LOVE that they fully understand the taste of Japan.I started off with Japanese squash salad with sesame dressing. I was already satisfied with the first dish. All of the dishes seemed really good but I got seafood spaghetti (spicy pollack roe, shrimp ) and miso mushrooms spaghetti. The taste reminded me of the time when I was in Japan…. These two are very unique pastas you can try here. At the end, I got red beans french toasts. This was die for? I don’t know how they make this but it just had the best combination of everything.. I felt like I could eat this infinitely. I think they rotate the flavors depending on season. One thing to mention, you should make a reservation beforehand since it’s a tiny place and the fact that it was packed on typical Monday. You can also be on the wait list but need to wait at least 20-30mins if it’s busy. I even saw people who already had a reservation but were waiting for the seats. I don’t know how they ended up like that. Anyways, I recommend people to book it before going.“
“We went there Jan. 1st…The Good: everything we ordered was delicious, super friendly vibes from all staff. We waited probably a good 20 minutes? The homemade jam and lemon butter was to die for and just amazing on everything. We also order to go soups here and Daisy cake. Wonderful restaurant. The Bad:I pointed out to the waiter that the charges showing $600+ for a bill that was $73.22. He said “Oh it’s Christmas” we just laughed it off but that’s wasn’t funny, good thing I always check my bill. He didn’t even apologize as if he’s entitled for that amount. How can you make a mistake punching $600+ for $73.22. Really sketchy…. It’s not a reflection of the owner and the restaurant but you wonder how many times this Male Wait Staff actually got away with it. It really left a bad taste in our mouth…“
“Wow!! Where do I start, the experience was amazing start to finish! Make sure to dine in! Dont be fooled by the old-school food court vibe! Your table we be cleaned and then decorated. I will definitely be back! The food was vibrant, fresh and delicious! We ordered 3 meals all Vegan items and we ate every bite!“
“I have questions what are these WAFFLES made of?!?!? They are soooo delicious, cripsy and chewy (maybe it has mochi) and the duck confit was so moist with a perfect crispy skin. Got a latte which could have been hotter but overall great service, even provided baby hair chair. (came on weekday)“
“My friend and I had a delicious Filipino breakfast of House Pork Sausage with fried eggs and garlic rice at this tiny eatery near Bathurst and College. Also shared some scrumptious fried chicken. Everything that we ordered from the small menu was very good. Service was very attentive, courteous and friendly. Because this restaurant is quite small in size and limited in seating, we suggest that you go early to avoid the need to wait for a seat. That said, BBs is well worth a trip. Highly recommended.“
“I found this place through Tag Venue because I needed a space to host my partner’s 34th birthday and boooooy did I get lucky. Firstly, Antonia was incredible responsive which I greatly appreciate because since I had never been here before, I had a lot of questions. When we arrived I was so happy to see how big, warm and cozy the back patio was (the lighting really added to the cozy ambiance). It was pretty cold that night but as soon as you stepped foot in the back you felt comfortable taking your jacket off. We were a party of 30-32 and Antonia and her staff were both incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout the entire evening. Their portion sizes are large and are some of the best prices I’ve seen in the city - this applies to the alcoholic beverages as well. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in hosting an event and I will definitely be back! I also wanted to mention my brother said the Utopia burger was the best burger he’s ever had. Thank you so much!“
“What a cute little place to go for brunch! Some friends and I stopped by here on a Saturday morning to go for brunch. We read the reviews in advance, and knew that it would take at least 30-45 min to have a seat especially if your coming at peak times (11am ish). So we did have to wait. They’ll take your number down and contact you when the table is ready.Upon entering, the restaurant is small, but you’ll have your seat and space to eat comfortably!I couldn’t decide between the delicious looking pancake stack or a savoury egg with crab, but i ended up going with the crab. My friends tried the other sandwiches available and they loved it. Not going to lie, i was expecting more than what looked like a table spoon of crab meat! But it was good quality, and did taste good. Just with the quantity was a bit more to make the price worth it.Service was great and helpful. Highly recommend giving this place a try - they don’t take reservations, so come in early and put yourself on the waitlist, and then maybe wait in the Tims across the street or something !“
“I used to come here often a few years ago, but then life got too busy, and I stopped coming. The menu hasn't changed much since then. The French toast is still delicious. The coffee, as before, is not great. The service is good, and the ambiance of the place is nice too. It's a pretty good brunch spot for the midtown.Vegetarian options: Have vegetarian choiceParking: Green p“
“Un lindo y gran lugar para desayunar! A mi amiga y a mí nos atendieron increíble, el trato fue súper amable, fueron grandes personas con nosotros y a pesar de que hicimos varios pedidos nos atendieron muy rápido. La comida muy deliciosa, buen precio y el lugar es muy acogedor. Volvería mil veces ❤️ gracias!“
“Unmatched service and immaculate ambience. Phil and Kate provide nothing short of a great time. Grab a drink, buy some merch, have some food and stay for a chat - guaranteed you won’t regret it. Conveniently located minutes from Trinity Bellewoods with cozy and classic decor in addition to their amazing Friday night karaoke and trivia nights, this spot will be a hit for all friends and folks.“
“Amazing Mexican breakfast food, this place is a must try. Lots of street parking, great location on King St. West. Nice selection for breakfast, fast, fresh food, large portions and great service. Free coffee refills, reasonably priced, highly recommend.“
“Kept seeing the ad for this place in my neoghbourhood Forest Hill magazine and finally decided to try it. Had the 3 eggs traditional breakfast and it did not disappoint! The bacon and home fries in particular were incredibly tasty. I was served by the manager, Riza (I think I spelled that right) who was very personable and friendly.Highly recommend this gem of a breakfast house in Forest Hill. I'll definitely be back.“
“Breakfast on the last morning of your stay. We had already fallen in love with Toronto, but this restaurant was the final highlight of our experience, why we will definitely come back to play here. The kids had pancakes and smoothies. I personally ordered the traditional Egg Benedict version, which was 10+. The kids ate half of my portion after getting a first taste of the new treat. I don't think fried eggs are good enough anymore. ;)The atmosphere, service and decor works for families with kids, couples and larger groups alike. The kids and I give you 5 stars, thank you.“
“After searching through tons of listings for breakfast near us, we settled on this restaurant. We came on a Friday morning and were sat immediately but a pleasant staff member. The menu options are substantial but we settled on the four cheese omelette and the banana, nut, and caramel French toast. My mom really loved her French toast! It was flavorful and cooked nicely. She enjoyed her coffee as well. I did not order coffee as I felt the prices were a bit high. My four cheese omelet was ok, it definitely could have been hotter when it arrived at the table and the cheese was not sufficiently melted for my taste. That being said, it tasted fine and i enjoyed the cheese combination. The home fries were cooked perfectly and the toast was good. The service was great, except the server did not come back and check on how the food was, as I am accustomed to. I’m not sure I would have asked her to have them beat my omelet more but I do like to have the opportunity. The vibe in this restaurant is pretty cool, I like the color scheme and the general setup. All in all, not the best but still good. .“
“It was my first time here and the service was amazing. They were so attentive and caring and warm to us. Unfortunately, there was a customer in the table next to us treating the waitress with unnecessary disrespect which they handled with even more kindness. I would definitely come back here the food was very yummy and I loved how they served the orange juice it was so cute!“
“Visited here with no particular expectations, drawn by the allure of Liberty Village. Took a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood and serendipitously found this gem. The ambiance captivated me instantly; however, the service was nearly absent, though it afforded me ample space to savor my meal. Opted for the pancakes, and they unequivocally stood out as some of the finest I've ever tasted. Delightfully light, irresistibly fluffy, yet bursting with flavor. Without a doubt, I'll be returning.“
“"Exceptional flavors and impeccable service make dining at Jhonny G's a true delight! The Indian Hakka cuisine here is a symphony of spices, offering a perfect balance of heat and savory goodness. From the aromatic Manchurian dishes to the mouthwatering Hakka noodles, each bite is a culinary journey worth savoring. The cozy ambiance adds to the overall dining experience, making it a top choice for both casual outings and special occasions. Highly recommended!"“
“Absolutely a nice place! We actually came inside right at closing, but google said they were open for another hour. The host in the front said they were closed he saw my son , went inside to ask someone and came back saying we can dine in. Very caring people! They respected the fact that we came in hungry or thirsty for a drink they accommodated us even after closing the kitchen. Salute Definitely recommend this place! Has a good vibe, cozy a nice place to go on a date!Kid-friendliness: I went in for a quick bite and my son is a picky eater so he just had fries. But they are very accommodating!“
“This is a classic Toronto diner which is known for its "mile high pies" and delicious brunch. Some people consider it a little pricier, but consider it's in the heart of downtown in tourist section. The food is fresh and tasty.“
“Came in on Sunday and had a great experience. Split a Benedict and Pancakes plate with a friend and it was deliciouss.Service was exceptionally good by a girl called Sana who was rlly friendly and helpful in navigating the menu! Definitely recommend and will be coming back again!“
“I went to to What a Bagel for breakfast on Saturday morning. What a treat: the menu had so many items to choose from and everything was so delicious. Service was friendly and very attentive!! I finally chose Cream cheese and salmon on a bagel with a lovely salad and a chai latte!! It was like heaven!!The atmosphere was so cheerful and happy it really was uplifting. We were delighted to see the biggest challah i have ever seen at the front of the store ready for pickup!! Great place for eating in or take out!!We also bought warm bagels to take home!!“
“Gorgeous brunch restaurant in Leslieville. Stopped in for a quick brunch bite, got a seat by the window which was great for people watching. Lush and green with plants when you enter. Tried the sucuk Benedict, which was zucchini fritters topped with poached eggs, Turkish sausage and a delicious whipped feta sauce. So so good! The Benny was served with crispy oven roasted potatoes and salad. The salad complimented the eggs Benny and the feta sauce was unique and tasty. Would highly recommend. The space is bright and staff were friendly.Vegetarian options: Offers vegetarian optionsParking: Paid street parking along Queen st EKid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“This is the sweetest brunch hot spot with all of the fantastic fixings. They have a creative cocktail menu of drinkable magic and their Benny’s are a thing of pure bliss. We could not leave without ordering the ‘No Regrets’ Red Velvet pancakes and we are so happy we did, they were perfection. We are already are looking forward to our next delicious date here.“
