This is our go to Oyster place in Toronto. Staff is always friendly and engaging. We follow them around to local breweries and other events. Always the freshest. Tonight we tried the Cod cakes, served hot and fresh with pickled onions & some amazing tartar sauce. Not to be missed.
The service here is top notch. I've ordered from here a dozen times over the last year or so and have never been disappointed. Island oysters has the best selection of east and west coast oysters. The owner Jason is a swell guy who is as nice as nice can be. They do a ton of events and pop ups and if you ever see them anywhere- try them out. You won't be disappointed! Amazing food and amazing service! I've been in a couple times, and have been blown away each time. The seafood amazingly tastes like it was caught that day, and the dishes are a perfect combination between classic and innovative.The ambience of the restaurant also offers a warm escape from this city, making for a perfect dine-out experience.
