This unassuming little diner may be my new favorite restaurant. It's a hidden gem in the Concord warehouse district.
I ordered the daily special, with a 1L bottle of pop and taxes, the total came out to just under $15. The food was delicious and fresh, and the hostess was ridiculously friendly and engaging.“

“I had Amutham last night for the first time and everything was amazing. The owners are so kind and generous and the food was delicious. We had the biryani, rolls, kothu roti, beef curry, chili chicken, tandoori chicken and tried a Sri Lankan juice too. The spice was perfect, the flavours were amazing and the service was excellent.
I definitely recommend you check it out, I’ll be back for the idli and sambal this weekend.“

“It was our first time doing any cooking class and we were so glad we did! The chef upstairs cooking class was super fun and easy to follow along with. Chef Matthew and Staff (Elle) were great hosts. Chef Matthew was super patient and was more than happy with sharing secrets and tricks during each recipe completed for the meals. It was a very good mix of enjoying the atmosphere, watching the chef and being apart of the recipes. Would highly recommend this experience:)“

“I order from them periodically, usually in bulk, and it’s been a huge help.
Since I started focusing on fitness and paying attention to my macros, I’ve been looking for convenient meal options that fit my goals. With a busy work schedule, having ready-to-go meals that I can bring for lunch makes staying on track much easier. It has also helped me cut down on those tired evenings when I would normally end up ordering Uber Eats.
Their cheesecake deserves a special mention as well. It satisfies my sweet tooth and has helped me avoid reaching for less healthy desserts and snacks.
Overall, I’ve been very happy with the service and the quality of the meals. The only suggestion I have is that I’d love to see more shrimp-based options on the menu, as I’m a big shrimp fan. Also, I’ve accumulated quite a few of the delivery bags over time, so a bag return or reuse program would be a great addition.
Overall, a great service that I plan to keep using.“

“Village Kitchen serves authentic African cuisine that hits the spot every time!
The jollof rice had that perfect smoky flavor with well-cooked grains that weren’t mushy. The Ayamase pepper sauce was rich, spicy, and packed with flavor - the meat was incredibly tender.
Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented.

“Gabe (Chef Revolution) is top shelf. After hearing from several trusted references, we hired Gabe to cater a dinner with 8 friends. His menu choices and suggestions were flexible to guest dietary needs, and the final menu was incredible. We savoured his blackened salmon with mango salsa and wild leek sauce. The vegy side of zucchini, asparagus, and red peppers was equally delicious. His fee is very reasonable and customer care outstanding. We will definitely ask Gabe to cater future dinners. “Used Sweetwater for the very first time last week for our rehearsal dinner function. I had been to 2 functions catered by Sweetwater recently. We were quite a distance away (in Oakville) and they had no issues/problem in catering our event. The food at our function was absolutely incredible. They planned the entire menu, sending along for approval/changes/suggestions.There were attendees with food allergies and issues and Sweetwater accommodated everyone perfectly. Our guests raved about not only the food but the presentation and the service. “When I cooked the first chicken breast I ordered from Baretta, I could tell the difference immediately when I picked up the breast from out of the pan - it was tender - and I could feel that. The taste was incredible. Same is true for their ground chicken - my chicken burgers have NEVER been as tender and tasty. What a difference.“
