It’s been about 15 years since we last visited. I was surprised the restaurant was still in business when I decided to visit again for our wedding anniversary. I can see why Sushi Kaji is still around today. The service was amazing, food very fresh and ambiance was intimate. Thank you for making our evening special!!
I had such a wonderful dining experience here. Every course was presented with incredible attention to detail, making the entire meal feel like a special event.
The seared piece of meat served over seasoned rice was a highlight, perfectly topped with just a hint of fresh green onion. We have a great time here. Sit at the bar. It’s fascinating to watch the staff work. The fish is always fresh and tasty and I get to try sushi I’ve never had before :)

The meal is satisfying and generous, making it a great option for a special occasion. The staff come over to explain each dish in detail. Dining at the bar allows for an up-close view of the preparation. The food quality and variety is excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. Recent customers have praised the experience, noting the impeccable service and the artistry behind each dish. Highlights include chicken dumplings, black cod with a traditional Japanese omelette, and tuna tataki, followed by an array of the freshest sushi. The BBQ eel and hand roll personally prepared by Chef Kaji were particularly memorable. The meal finishes with a creative dessert, described as a play on blueberry cheesecake. Overall, Sushi Kaji is an absolute gem, offering traditional Japanese cuisine and fine dining at its highest level—elevated yet approachable, without unnecessary pretentiousness.
