“A likely once-in-a-lifetime experience as the chef at Sushi Kaji is said to be retiring soon. So glad to have been able to experience this restaurant, the service was excellent, and the food sublime.

One piece in particular stands out: the ebi nigiri. This shows up on many, if not most sushi plates, and it's always slightly dry and rubbery with very little flavour. The piece we were served was nothing I'd had before: moist, flavourful, and perfectly matched to the rice and wasabi. The elevation of this simple item to a work of art was a revelation.“

“Did take out so can’t comment on atmosphere but can say the inside is nicer than the average sushi place. The staff were very friendly and warm. Sushi was amazing. They have a few unique rolls that were absolutely delicious. We order sushi once a week and have our regular spots but decided to try something different. We were not disappointed and will definitely order from here again.“

“Lan Sushi is the best sushi shop in all of Toronto. Operated by the sweetest couple, incredibly affordable for the quality and taste. The food is made right in front of you and is always beautifully packaged. I’ve been several times now and have never been disappointed. “It’s a little sushi take out place and i believe there is a patio to sit at.
The person that took our order was very nice. 😊 the quality of the tuna and salmon we had was great and the rice was made to perfection! I also enjoyed the bone broth soup, clear and delicious. I have tried all of the sushi places in this area and this one has been my favourite! Real sushi chefs! Highly recommend! My new spot!“
