“The restaurant is slightly tucked away at the back of the parking lot but definitely worth it! Our order came super fast, the rolls were so fresh & flavourful. I like that they have half size portions for their rolls. We had their lunch special that runs until 3:30 which is nice.“

“It was the best sushi and sashimi I've ever had in Canada. Everything was incredibly fresh, with the perfect size and texture. After a busy and hectic day, this meal was exactly the kind of comfort I needed.

Not only was the food amazing, but the service was excellent and the restaurant had such a clean, welcoming atmosphere. I ordered takeout this time, but after seeing how beautiful the restaurant was, I definitely want to dine in next time. The takeout was also packaged so carefully and neatly that nothing spilled during the trip home.

Thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience with your fresh sushi and sashimi. I really hope you open another location near my neighborhood! 😆 I'll definitely be back!“

“Great time at Takumi. We got there just after 6pm on a Thursday and they were able to seat our family of 5. Not sure if it was because my daughter was dolled up for her bday or not, but they put our family in one of the rooms was made the dinner feel really special (VIP-type atmosphere). The meats were fresh, the grills had pretty even heat distribution, and the selection of vegetables was phenomenal. The service was also very attentive. Good for families, dates, and many events due to their private rooms“

“We come from Niagara and were in the area and looking for a spot to host 6 people and a baby last minute. we were able to be on a wait list and got our table fairly faster than the time they told us.
Wow very impressed with this place! It has to be one of my favourites. The flavours on the meat, the decent selection. Everything was delicious and on point. There were a couple of times that our orders would come twice, but other than that service was really good and quick to get our order and start cooking.

“Best sushi place inside the square one mall! My favourite sushi to order is the Aburi set which has many different kinds of fish and is absolutely delicious! It’s so tasty that soy sauce and ginger is not necessary for me to put on my sushi. The servers there are always kind and polite. Dining inside is peaceful, but you have to order from the menu to dine there, and not from the sushi that’s already prepared beside the dining area from what I know. I always come here for lunch and dinner when I do mall trips! Their sushi can be a little bit pricey, but honestly if you’re a sushi lover, it’s worth it and fills up your belly!“

“I'm not super versed in Rice Dogs, but the ones served here were top notch. Juicer and more flavorful than the chains, you could add your own dressing, and the prices were an absolute steal in today's fast food landscape. If you get lost easily (like me), it's at the back of the grocery store and you have to walk through the checkout line to get to it. Also, FYI there's lots of extra seating further back, so you don't have to fight over the one little table in the front. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!“

“I placed an order for pick up. It was ready to go by the time I got there. The service was great. The woman who served me was very nice very on top of it. I ordered two sushi rolls and a veggie tempura, and they added in a shrimp, tempura miso soup and salad for me. It was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back.

“The noise level was too high, they played the music so loud like you would in a dance bar but we were eating dinner with 10 people at an oval table and couldn't hear each other. We asked for the music to be lowered which they did for three minutes then turned it right back up again. It's not conducive for dining in the lounge area!“

“I was really impressed with the level of service displayed by the associates. As a whole, they were very courteous, friendly and exceeded all expectations for a fast food restaurant. I appreciated the fact that the food was brought directly to our table and the associates followed up by asking how was everything and if we needed anything.

Wow, the food was impeccable. The flavors were pure perfection. We were a party of 5 and we all ordered something different. Every sinloopgle one of us throughly enjoyed our order.

“Super cozy and cute little sushi joint with the yummiest sushi and maki rolls. The maki pieces are smaller than what you usually get that’s why you get 8 pcs instead of 6 like at other restaurants. Love the crazy (spicy) salmon and tuna rolls and also great veggie sushi. Love the rice they use as well, adds so much flavour to the sushi!“

“I’ve been a regular customer at this sushi place for years, and lately they’ve been adding more items to their menu. I recently tried the chicken and corn soup, and it was really good as well.

If you’re looking for a place for lunch, brunch, or even breakfast with their expanded menu, this place is definitely recommended.“

“This food was fresher than the place I normally go to with alot more of an assortment of type of food. The interior is fresh and upscale and as an added bonus is 2 mins away from where I live (This could be dangerous 😉) Note: A drink (Tea) is not included in the price @ $4.00 which is a bit steep (Pardon the tea pun) and would have been good to know this in advance. Other then that I would highly recommend this restaurant. *Do not eat anything prior to going here as the variety is so much it would be hard to taste everything in one sitting! ❤️“

“I’ve come by numerous times for lunch and it is always consistent. The service is always prompt and friendly. The Kalbi ribs is one of my favourite dishes to order. I recommend making a reservation as the space is kind of small. They reserve the booths for those with reservations.“

“Great food but suffers from a lack of staffing. Plates going uncleared from the table for extended times (15minutes+ on multiple occasions) and only 2 servers running for the entire place. Would like to go back when staffing is up to what is needed. In the restaurant at current and still waiting now 45 minutes on a water refill. Please hire more people.
Oh and clean up the washrooms. Broken paper dispenser and only one sink faucet working at time of visit. Daily check signage on the wall last signed in May. This is June 24th.“

“IT’S LOCATED INSIDE HEART SUSHI!! I almost missed this place, but I’m glad I finally found some reviews sharing where it was. I got the Jasmine Milk Tea option with the can lid and requested boba instead of sago, and the barista was happy to accommodate!

I brought it home and started drinking it before I thought to take a photo. The boba were a nice texture though. The tea flavour is a bit unique, yet not bad, and it’s a bit out of the way, but I’ll be back!“
