“Loved the salmon poke bowl with the orange sauce. The size of it is pretty big and for that price I was impressed with the quality. recommendedParking: Located in a mall-like plaza. Might struggle a bit to find parking close to the restaurant“
“I was pleasantly surprised by the quick and attentive service from the staff, the food, it was absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The daily specials that they have are extremely attractive, and keeps you waiting for the day of the week to indulge. Given today's inflation prices for meals, prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Silver Spoon Heartland!“
“We had a great experience. The host and server were very polite and gave us updates often when our table is ready. The food was delicious and seasoned to perfection. Hats off to the chefs. We order the sizzling eggplant, sizzling ginger beef and dry pot lamb. Meat was tender and juicy. Food came out pretty fast too. The best thing on their drink menu is their LYCEE SOJU!!! They make their own recipe in house.“
“Dishes Ordered:Chicken Katsu Bao: ★★★★★5 Spice Belly Bao: ★★★★★Delivery and Packaging: ★★★★★Value for Money: ★★★★☆Overall Experience: ★★★★★Review:My latest culinary adventure led me to Bao Bar, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Venturing into the realm of bao, I decided on two distinct flavors - the Chicken Katsu Bao and the 5 Spice Belly Bao, both of which set a new benchmark for what I consider phenomenal in the world of casual dining. The Baos: Starting with the Chicken Katsu Bao, the Japanese-style fried chicken was a revelation. Encased in a pillowy bao bun, the chicken was impeccably crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy within. The garlic mayo, lettuce, tonkatsu sauce, green onion, and togarashi flakes melded together to create a symphony of flavors, each bite surpassing the last in delight.Equally impressive was the 5 Spice Belly Bao. The braised pork belly, marinated in a rich blend of five spices, was so tender that it seemed to melt away with each bite, a testament to the skill behind its preparation. Complemented by garlic mayo, crisp cucumbers, pickled daikon, carrots, and fresh cilantro, this bao was a masterclass in balancing richness with refreshing crunch and acidity.Delivery & Packaging: Despite the potential challenges of delivering such delicate creations, Bao Bar excelled. The baos arrived in pristine condition, with every element intact and the bao buns as soft as if they were just steamed. The attention to packaging detail ensured that the dining experience was not compromised in transit.Value for Money: While I do wish the pricing was slightly more competitive, it's hard to argue with the quality and experience provided. The dishes, though a bit on the pricier side, were worth every penny for their exceptional taste and presentation.Overall Experience: Bao Bar has undoubtedly earned a place in my heart and my list of top food spots. The combination of unique, flavorful offerings, careful packaging for delivery, and the sheer joy of each bite makes it a restaurant I cannot recommend enough. For those looking to indulge in some of the best baos around, look no further than Bao Bar. Despite the slight wish for better pricing, the overall experience is one I eagerly anticipate revisiting.“
“I've been going to Corner since it first opened, and Corner always goes above and beyond expectations. They consistently offer amazing value: delicious food at good prices. Highlights include: hot food is actually served hot and not warm so you know it's fresh, salmon sashimi is beautifully fatty and thick-cut, and hand rolls and maki rolls have a moderate amount of rice. The thai tea is my favourite drink to get here and it comes in a huge mug with a salty milk foam on top. 10/10 experiences.“
“This place is a hidden gem. Reason being it is located at the heart of a bunch of auto body shops. Therefore, it is not very inviting. The food is cheaper than other places especially the fried pork and popcorn chicken. Other locations that serve these are nearing the $10 range whereas this one charges just over $5.The seasoning spice can get overwhelming if you smell it for too long. Taste wise, it is great. The noodles were delicious though one of the meats that came in it was fried? Texture might not be great if you serve it in soup.Excellent customer service and consideration. We got only one noodle bowl. Before we asked, the waiter brought 2 smaller bowls for us to share.“
“Japanese style tonkatsu restaurant. Lots of arranged tonkatsu and sauces. The quantity is a bit small for young people. We always order just the cutlets to go because we buy good quality rice made in Japan at home and want to eat them with good rice. The servers are very hard worker.Parking: parking is easy to find“
“The experience was amazing and on-point, The décor was so unique and different. And you just felt welcomed and at ease and relaxed, stylish. They validated the parking, which was really good. Due to the location, you knew you would have to pay a lot of money, but it would have been worth it.Parking: you park underground garage. But they validate your parking ticket, so it's no cost to you.“
“Everything from being welcomed in with an amazing smile on the hostess face to being seated and having a view of wall art to such delicious food. I would rate this at 100%, I usually don’t do reviews but this place is stunning. The food was presented in such a good way I felt my eyes started eating before me. And not be forgetting of the best part and that is the service, swati the server had done an amazing job of always making everything stunning, she is so sweet and welcoming i felt like I was eating at a family home and not just a resturant. I recommend this place and I think if you get served by swati your experience will be the best ever .“
“This is my new favourite bubble tea/organic tea store! There’s SO much variety and customization options. I got the organic dragon well cheese top tea and it was absolutely delicious. The tea itself was light and didn’t overpower the drink. I also got the osmanthus oolong cheese top tea last time and that was also excellent but I prefer the dragon well drink. I’m so excited to come back and try the other options!“
“My first Hot Pot experience, so I have nothing to compare to. Ordered their all you can eat dinner option with a spicy broth. Broth was not my favorite but it's not to say that it was bad, just not my cup of tea. The food I cooked in it turned out really good. They have all kinds of meats and vegetables you can cook. As well as a few precooked dishes. All in all I would recommend a visit whether you are a hot pot expert or just want to try it for the first time.“
“Hattendo is a small shop located in the Food District at SQ1. I have previously tried the strawberry flavour which was okay, the chocolate which is good and the custard which is the BEST one in my opinion. The buns are fresh and very soft, the filling is a creamy and smooth texture but not too sweet, these really are so good. The reason why I give this a 4* is because the price is $3.89/each (buns are small) and the service is just okay. The sandwiches look delicious but I have yet to try these. Hope you enjoy these delicious buns!“
“Visited this location for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Their spring rolls, chicken wings, and chilli Thai noodles were delicious. Their chicken green Thai curry is our favourite and is a must. Our server Debbie was really polite and friendly :)“
