“My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our mixed boil plenty for 2 , very large portions of delicious lobster, crab. Shrimp and mussels. We chose the hot level which just hit he spot not overbearing in spice. The Crab Boil was well worth our drive were coming from Orangeville but we travel for great food. The staff are all exceptionally nice and attentive making sure you have everything at arms reach like napkins and a glass of water .No wait take a seat place your order and enjoy !! Definetly plan to make this a regular spot to visit since the seafood is affordable and bountiful , we ordered takeaway and picked up thier seafood soup and wings again incredible flavor they've got their boil recipe mastered. Thanks again to an amazing meal. Bring the family and friends enjoy the feast.“

“Had a great experience at Gyukou with my wife. The food was fresh and tasty, and the quality of the meat was really good—especially the pork and shrimp. We also really enjoyed the variety of sushi, and everything we tried was flavorful.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy dinner with family or friends. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely go back again.

The only improvement I would suggest is adding a little more variety in the chicken options, seafood selection, and desserts.“

“We had very good food especially fish and shrimps, made well and very tasty. The disappointment was when we asked for bill staff told us they take cash or debit and if u want to pay by credit card, they will charge extra 2.4% ( they have not mentioned this on their menu nor visibly displayed it on their entrance door or neither staff told us this at the the time of order placement. They have put a very small handwritten note on the fridge/display fridge ( this is very small and almost not noticeable). The staff has pointed to this note when I insisted where it’s posted show me? It clear on bill of 215 cad they want To charge extra on pretext of credit card fees that no one charge now a days“

“We had a wonderful experience when this restaurant just opened. We had secured a private room and had a set menu for the Peking duck supplemented with some main dishes and dimsum. The Peking duck was delicious crisp skin, juicy meat, and the presentation was beautiful. High quality dimsum as with the rest of the food and this is reflected by the higher price tag. The service was quick and professional.“

“Not sure what happen this is my go to place Tonight the fries and fish all tasted the same with a bad after taste Im not even sure I got halibut the roll was tough stale the only thing the same was the coleslaw slaw I usually have a hard time finishing an order tonight was kid size I will give it one more try out of loyalty. If I had not fought Port Credit traffic to get there I would have returned it I think it may have been old oil“

“We come from Niagara and were in the area and looking for a spot to host 6 people and a baby last minute. we were able to be on a wait list and got our table fairly faster than the time they told us.
Wow very impressed with this place! It has to be one of my favourites. The flavours on the meat, the decent selection. Everything was delicious and on point. There were a couple of times that our orders would come twice, but other than that service was really good and quick to get our order and start cooking.
From start to finish everything was amazing. Well worth the price!“

“I ordered the spicy fish and it blew me away. The fish pieces were wonderfully cooked—tender on the inside with a great coating that soaked up all that rich, spicy sauce. Love the generous amount of diced onions, chili flakes, and green onions that give it such a flavorful punch. If you like a dish with some real kick and amazing flavor depth, this is it. Will definitely be ordering this again!

Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“I took some cooking classes here with their chefs and it was an amazing experience. Kevin and Jaylen are excellent instructors. Despite taking many cooking classes in the past, the various classes I took on sauces, breakfast, salads, knife skills and starches were exceptional and I learned things I never learned anywhere else. “It's a hidden gem! We accidentally ended up there just for hot and sour soup and it was too delicious. A medium portion was enough for 4 people, and the amount of chicken and egg in the soup was really good. We then ordered chicken lollipops, which were extremely good as well – well-cooked and spiced. We rarely get this type of lollipop chicken, as sometimes it gets chewy or hard, but this was too good. We ended up going back again the next day and re-ordered with chicken fried rice, which was flavorful as well. They give complimentary spring rolls. Highly recommended.“

That rare time you have a craving for something very specific, and they CRUSH IT!!! Everything light and crispy, not doughy or oily. Haddock: light, flaky. Halibut: Dense, toothsome, fresh. o-rings the way they should be. not doughy, or like onion fritters. light, crispy, almost tempura.“
