“As a 71st birthday celebration we went to Hoseki Oakville for the Premium Omakase dinner. It was super expensive, but also one of the two best meals of my life. I've never had better, fresher or different fish in any other sushi restaurant I've visited. The variety of textures and flavors were amazing. I can't begin to describe the meal adequately . But beware, it will empty your wallet. Well worth the price for a special occasion. Many kudos to Chef Tim for his wonderful preparations!“
“Our favourite fish and chips take-out place in the area! They have a daily special on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Always fresh and delicious (we usually get a side of coleslaw too). Staff are also very friendly. The one thing I wish they had: homemade tartar sauce! I feel like they’d do such a good job with it! However with that being said, the tartar sauce packets they give out are actually pretty good!“
“Such a nice place with delicious food and great service. Very accommodating for our baby. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They have nice high chairs and made the fish grilled instead of fried and without salt for our 1 year old. Also the fries were salt free and perfect for her.“
“Super packed when we arrived . Felt congestedGot Gnocchi in Rose with vegetables, Vegetarian Pizza which tasted good . Service was amazing .Friends got Beef and was all praise . Toffee pudding was okish nothing special . Plce was super expensive“
“The food at Quik Chik is nothing short of exceptional. The service here is impeccable especially Moin Bhai was very kind. The portion sizes are generous, and the deals are unmatched.Overall, our experience at Quik Chik was outstanding. From the impeccable service to the exquisite food, every aspect of our meal exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Quik Chik to anyone looking for a memorable snack or dining experience in Oakwille.“
“Busy Friday night and fell through cracks for about 10 mins to get our drink order. Server was super apologetic. 5 mins later Braydon comes by to again say sorry and offer an app. Not first time here and always great food and amazing service. Steak bites, wedge salads favs. Kids get some great veggies and fruit with their meals.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are great and have some fruit and veggies that come with it“
“Rob T gave us excellent service and food was amazing. My whole family, included kids, enjoyed our dinner very much. Thank you.Kid-friendliness: Kids were served the very moment we arrived with veggie plater and crackers. Then later on the food arrived really fast. Kids steak menu is the best!“
“Great food I have to agree, but tends to miss the items you choose when you do “pick your own” watch them packed and missed 1 item on he spot ( they added it back) but got gone realize they missed 2 additional items.... and also found a small hair. Need to pay more attention to hygiene and the order list a bit more.“
“We have been going to Montfort even before they relocated to a new built facility. The place is always clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. thoroughly impressed by both the food and service. Sally the waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable, she has a great memory and if you are a regular customer she will remember your previous orders! The food is always freshly cooked and arrives fast and hot to the table. It’s bursting with flavours, truly capturing the essence of Mediterranean cuisine. As a Vegan and lactose intolerant myself I can assure you will have a great selection of choices in the menu and they don’t disappoint. The only things I would change is a choice of music that plays on the background. Sometimes it’s little boring and slow for a lunch time ;))I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience. Vegans, vegetarians or a meat lovers will not be disappointed up there.Parking: Great location near the Oakville Place shopping mall.Plenty of free parking right by the restaurant entrance.“
“First time visiting. Decided to sample some dishes to decide if we will place an order here for Good Friday. So glad we did. The jerk calamari was the best calamari I’ve had EVER! It’s served with the breaded peppers and a unique seasoning. Also tried the lobster bisque (delicious and very rich tasting with large chunks of lobster). The halibut and chips was more traditional though the batter offers something a little different. Lastly the Cole slaw. I am not usually a fan of Cole slaw and haven’t found one I’ve liked since Lucy’s Seafood kitchen closed but this one might actually be better. Can’t wait to come back and try more. I think the fisherman’s stew is calling me ( and some Cole slaw on the side). Wish I took photos to share but we ate it too quickly.“
“Our night started rough, we sat in the dining room and did not get served for 15 minutes. Two different servers walked by our table and didn’t acknowledge us. We decided to go to the lounge area and was served by Taylor. She changed our whole mood completely, made really good recommendations. The food was amazing and she made really good drinks. Will definitely be coming back and request for Taylor to serve us. Thank you again Taylor for ending our night on a better note“
“Went to Borgo for lunch with my husband and two children on Saturday and let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic! I had the Parpadelle Funghi and it was soooo good I probably could of eaten more! The freshest and lightest tasting pasta. We had polpette and rice balls to start. So fresh and delicious. My husband and children had pasta with red sauce and they said it was also fresh and delicious. I could tell they loved it due to the dipping in the sauce with the bread! The staff was very friendly and helpful and asked numerous times if we needed anything. We will absolutely be back and will definitely recommend this fine dining restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.“
“The food was tasty. Service was efficient. The servers were friendly and helpful. The cost of the food is more expensive than other restaurants that serve dim sum. The portions weren't bigger nor smaller than at other restaurants.Parking: Restaurant is located in Oakville place. Lots of parking available at the mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Only through the mall.“
“Food was good overall. I’d say my fish was cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth. The rest of the food was OK (fries and salad), however, again the fish was perfect.Would come here again on occasion, especially if I’m craving fried fish!“
“I've been going to Owl for many years, but first time in this Oakville location. You know the food is good, when I saw the sign driving by, I did a u-turn and went in immediately. My review is only takeout & Gamja-tang (pork bone soup) at this location. The Good: The pork soup is identical to all their other locations, one of the, if not the, absolute best I've ever tasted. You get at least 3 bones per order, and always the potatoe. Not too spicy. The sides we had 1. Kimchi, again best I've ever tasted, spicy, garlicky and somehow seemed it was fermented more, much deeper, true kimchi taste than other places. 2. Cucumber was heaven, sweet & sour, and addictive please order extra. Lady taking my order was very friendly. If your train is late, or coming home at the GO station after work, stop here once and try it.The not so good: At 11am weekday the restaurant had a pungent smell, floor wet as if just washed. Not sure if the cleaner or chlorine but the smell was not appetizing at all. It also looks very old, as if 50 yr old diner, the sign, the posters inside all look very sunburned as if old age. Was that on purpose? It's in an isolated commercial and industrial part of town, but walking distance to train. Stop here after a night of drinking in TO for your hungover remedy.“
“I've been eating at Mye restaurants for over 25 years. It's mine and my families favorite Japanese restaurant. The food quality and taste are second to none. I live in the Niagara area, and I never miss a chance to eat at Mye when I'm in Oakville. They also have the best salad dressing ever. You'll never go wrong eating here.“
