The Bronte Boathouse is a gem of a restaurant. Great location, atmosphere, service and food. Excellent for friends and family, and I recently discovered excellent for events. The Director of Catering and Events, JR, is superb, looking after everything beautifully.

Lovely service and atmosphere!
We visited the boathouse yesterday. It was the perfect date night.
Jack, was our server and he was absolutely so courteous, consistent, and on it.
We enjoyed chatting with him. I would go back for the boathouse fries, broccoli, and everything else we had.
And my hubby and I would go back for the ambience, food, views, and Jack!

The Bronte Boathouse Restaurant and Event Venue is a beautiful spot right on the waterfront in Bronte with calm, scenic views of the marina and Lake Ontario. The atmosphere is relaxed and the grounds are park-like. It is a perfect location for a special event like a wedding, bridal shower, or dinner party, with a stunning event room that is cozy and not a standard dull banquet hall. The lakeside room has amazing views from every angle.
The service is top notch, outstanding, attentive, swift, accommodating, prompt, friendly, and helpful. For events, the hot appetizers and dinner are superb and well crafted. For regular dining, reviews on food quality are erratic. Some items like the hamburger and crunchy fries are very good, while others like the roast beef sandwich have been criticized. The only reason to go may be the view, not the food. An ice cream shop attached to the building is a good addition. Prices are reasonable, with most main courses around 20 CAD. There is gratis parking and it is super easy to find.
