Thistle Fish & Chips Reviews
The fish and chips were good, but the onion rings could be improved.
Great place for fish and chips. The fish is properly prepared with a light, crispy batter and a thick, flaky piece of fish inside. This is what proper fish and chips should be.
Great food, large piece of Halibut, fresh cut fries.
Down side, super fast flow with the salt shaker. And bench seats were very uncomfortable.

Thistle Fish & Chips is a charming strip-mall restaurant that offers delectable Scottish and British delicacies. The staff are friendly and polite, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. It is not just a small takeout counter; instead, it is a fully decorated dining place that provides a great atmosphere for lunch with friends. The food is excellent, with the halibut and chips being a standout. The battered haddock is also delicious and highly recommended, with a crunchy batter that leaves a lasting impression. Although the homemade tartar sauce is missed, the fries offer an artful balance of crunchiness and softness, giving an old-style feeling without too much messiness.
Customers appreciate that tea is served in a pot, allowing for easy sharing at the table. While prices may be slightly higher compared to other lunch spots, the quality of the food makes it worth it. This hidden gem has a spacious seating area and is a frequent haunt for many, including those who have been coming for over 15 years. The dessert presentation on a tray is another delightful treat. Overall, Thistle Fish & Chips continues to impress with excellent meals and a warm atmosphere.
