“I had an absolutely amazing experience at Babushka! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how clean and beautifully designed the restaurant was. The outdoor seating area surrounded by flowers created a wonderful atmosphere. The best part was the food — every dish was presented beautifully and served individually to each guest. In today’s world, we don’t just look for quantity, but for quality, a personal touch, and excellent service, and Babushka delivered on all fronts. Our waiter, Dima, was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional. The owner, Pasha, was respectful, attentive, and added a touch of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. He personally greeted everyone and made us feel special. The dancers performing on stage added so much energy and excitement to the evening. They truly elevated the atmosphere, making it feel like a real celebration. The washrooms were spotless and stocked with hand towels, which I really appreciated. The music was just right — lively but not too loud, with a great mix of different cultures and breaks so guests could talk or dance. “I love how they allow you to substitute toppings at no extra cost! I don't like onions, so I always ask them to substitute it for avocados. My go to is the aloha classic with extra salmon.
Their portion sizes are really good for the price. The staff is always very welcoming. Would recommend either calling in to order for pick up or going in store to order.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“Small mom and pop shop serving great fish n chips. They don’t skimp on their portions so we thought the prices were great for the value. We live near by but this was our first time going here & can guarantee that we’ll be back again. The batter was crispy and the fish was flaky. Service was pretty quick tbh. Theres seating for a variety of group sizes and we didn’t have much trouble with parking. The staff were so kinda and attentive to us. We left feeling so full and had leftovers to bring home too.“

The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“

“Last night we enjoyed an amazing meal at Ming Cuisine . We were a party of 8 and we dined in the Private dining room. The food was brought to our table by very polite servers and every dish came with immaculate presentation. We enjoyed the eel, ( 2 different ways) , lobster beautifully presented on a bed of noodles, ribs, rice, beef noodles, green vegetables with garlic and two fish dishes. We also enjoyed almond milk soup and a sesame ball for dessert. As a Caucasian it was alot of fun to get a taste of Hong Kong cooking and the owner, David was great as he described everything to us! “Wiki Hut located in the Lawrence/Allen Mall is definitely was a happen upon type of stop as some of the food stores were closed and I was hungry I really did not want to stop somewhere else. The food was good. I ordered fried rice/noodle, veggie and Honey chicken/crispy chicken. It was one meal to go. I ate in the car as I really was famish. I was not aware that it was a specialty fried rice I though it was a veggie fried rice but, not the staff fault as I really did not look at the names on the glass I just ordered. I had not ordered Honey chicken before and it was tangy taste nothing like sweet and sour as I asked for that but, not the right place, lol. The lady explained that but she gave a bit of the gravy so it was nice. The crispy chicken was as said crispy and that is good. The mild noodles was good as well. I think because I was loaded I paid about twenty three dollars as I had food, lol. I was glad to try something different. I won't say I would not go back but, for this mall it isn't a first choice but the service was nice. Nice in Toronto is appreciated as it does not happen much. In all give Wiki Hut a try. “Nine of my friends and I recently visited Mr. Congee. Overall, we had a good experience, and all of my friends were happy with their meals. I am vegan, and the options for me were quite limited, but I managed. One of my friends is gluten intolerant, and unfortunately she could only have a small portion of steamed vegetables. It would be wonderful if you could consider adding more clearly labeled vegan and gluten-free dishes to the menu. The staff who served us — Yao, Michelle, and Jason — were very kind, polite, and attentive. We truly appreciated their service. The only thing that bothered me was seeing live crabs in the tank near the entrance. For animal advocates, this can be quite disturbing.“

Great quality food, environment is okay, a bit stuffy but staff are very friendly and polite. They seem a bit understaffed though so it's tough for them to handle so many tables along with walk-ins.
Loved the pre-ordered soup, pig intestine was good, $10 鮑魚扣鵝掌 (
Supposed to be 海參 but they ran out so substitute with abalone) was a good deal. Mushrooms were big and juicy.
Chili oil was fragrant and good level of spice.
