“Located inside King Square shopping center, north of woodbine and 16th ave. This is by far the best food shop inside King Square. I was kinda blown away tbh. The food is very authentic. My friends and I ordered up PB1C (the party picnic box combo) to share. The box included sauteed shrimps, calamari, fishballs, fried chicken cartilage, grilled chicken, shrimp chips, mango salad and 3 sauces. On the side it came with mango sticky rice and 2 drinks. We chose thai milk tea (less sweet) and thai lime tea (less sweet as well). The food was SO TASTY. Seasoning was on point and the homemade sauces were FIRE. My fave was the peanut sauce. The thai lime tea was super unique imo. You don't really find that at many thai restos even the authentic ones downtown. I also loved the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level on the tea as well which is a welcome surprise. Normally, restos just give you a default level of sweetness.“
“We walked back in time into Peter's fine dining restaurant for an "Old school" dining experience. I forgot how impeccable the service and how amazing the flavors were back then. I had a really awesome birthday! Thank you Peter's fine dining and the very attentive service. 5+ stars for the service and the amazing food!“
“We had impromptu dinner at this location and we’re not disappointed. The staff were really friendly and professional. Our server Janice was very knowledgeable and attentive. Our meals arrived promptly and tasted delicious.Would recommend to family and friends.“
“This place is a gem. It’s so rare to find good food these days because of inflation. We went twice and everything we tried was amazing. They use very good quality ingredients and their dishes are well balanced. I really liked the Hana roll and the Beef Udon soup. They must have a really good chef in the kitchen! Make sure to go to the Markham location though.“
“This was our first time to any Ruth's Chris, and both me and my friend were very impressed! Our server Chris was very attentive as well as very cognizant of my friend's dietary restrictions.Granted my sample size for steakhouses is small (I don't go very often) but my filet was the best I've ever had. We went with the prix fixe menu and it was an excellent amount of food for the price.Expensive? Yes. It's a steakhouse, of course it's gonna be expensive. But I still feel like I got value for money when you combine the excellent food with excellent service! It's a splurge, but one I'll likely do again for another special occasion!Dietary restrictions: My friend had an intolerance to table pepper, which can be tricky given it's used in a lot of dishes. But our server helped him navigate the menu or offer alterations to give my friend one hell of a good dish.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample space for my friend to navigate using his wheelchair and automatic doors. Very accommodating!“
“Dropped by for lunch during the weekend where we ordered the following: Mushroom Croquetas, Grilled Pulpo, Endive & Radicchio Salad andPaella de Tapagría. While a tad on the expensive side, everything was really delicious with welcoming service. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.“

“I went to red lobster almost 20 years ago with my parents. Writing a review now after coming back with my own family. This is a review a day after we ate so it's all still fresh in my mind and the smell still lingers on my jacket.Tom was our host and he did a great job with everything. He was kind, patient and answered all our questions about the menu.It was a birthday celebration so we decided to just have fun with as many options as possible but it all came down to who was hungry the most and it was obviously me. We ordered some apps like the usual red lobster biscuits, the crab queso. Etc. with wine of course. The ultimate feast and the shrimp Trio was the goal for later. We had our kids with us who shared some of the food along with their dinner which was mac n cheese. We took our time and just had fun and their was no rush to go anywhere since it took me forever to get through the crab legs and finish the rest of my dinner. The only thing I would say is the vibe/atmosphere, setting which red lobster never really had as i imagined it to. And it is where I left the rating stars unchecked. Id like a nice ocean type vibe where there's all sorts of deep sea coral colours on the sealing, maybe a brighter setting with coral decor or something like that. The red lobster is a place you wanna go to and feel like you're in the ocean swimming alongside the fish. Maybe some sort center piece which features water and you have live fish swimming in it. Kind of like what Mandarin has. Something more vibrant. Thanks Red Lobster for the intimate family experience.“
“Forget the mainstream "tiktok pmall onigiris", these are waaay better - they're well stuffed and fairly priced for what they are. I would suggest you to go a bit after opening hours so they can stock up most if not all the flavors. The sushi is also pretty fresh and delicious - I've been going here for years and cannot reccomend this place enough.“
“I’ve been coming here for forever. The food here is so good and everyone is always so nice. They always accommodate to any changes I need made to the dish. My favourites are the chow mein, chicken wings, Shanghai fried noodles and Szechuan beef. These are always my go to.“
“We searched around a little bit in the downtown Toronto Chinatown for dim sum places last night to no avail, and then my wife’s coworkers and friends sent some places further out in the Scarborough and Markham suburbs to check out today. After eating a bit at Ding Tai Fung in Scarborough, not realizing until we were already seated that it wasn’t what most would consider traditional dim sum, we made our way to Markham to try out New Century Restaurant. It did not disappoint. This was a whole other level of dim sum than what we were used to in New York. Even compared to the places in Flushing and Brooklyn, this was markedly better. We tried many of the staples — har gow, beef wrap, shu mai, chicken feet, some sort of tofu skin wrapped thing LOL, and buns with salted yolk egg cream inside — and they were all awesome.I particularly loved my staple trio of har gow, beef wrap, and shui mai. All were massive and much more substantial than anything we’d get in any New York dim sum place. The har gow and shui mai were absolutely LOADED with shrimp. The har gow came with a fifth smaller one with roe on top and folded in a slightly different way for presentational purposes. The beef wrap actually had greens wrapped in with the beef for a nice change in texture and flavor.Overall just a wonderful dim sum here in the Toronto area. Definitely recommended if you ever come by this way!!“
“We came here for a special occasion and ordered the special combo of the week which cost $188 and opted to upgrade to lettuce wraps for an additional $15. The Pumpkin Soup came with seafood, which sounds like it wouldn’t work, but it did. We were huge fans! The Peking Duck was fantastic. Pro tip: the wraps for the Peking Duck dry out relatively quickly so be sure to eat that when it comes out. The lettuce wraps were a close second. The minced meat was really tasty without being overly salty. We really enjoyed the vegetables that they added into the meat as it gave each bite an extra crunch. They used pork neck to make their sweet and sour pork which was a bit interesting. The meat was slightly tougher and the breading was cooked in a way that made it extra crunchy. The eel was as expected. Delicious. But watch out for the tiny bones. The Abalone was really fresh and cooked perfectly and packed a lot of flavor. We got an assortment of desserts that included Mango Pudding, Cookies and Red Bean Soup. It was the perfect way to end the night. All in all our experience was superb and was enhanced by the excellent service we received.“
“What an experience!I have seen this food truck before but haven’t tried. I was lucky to find the food truck stationed on queens quay last night during Nuit Blanche. The ordering system is all automated through their online web application, and accurately showed what items were sold out as it was around 1am. This process was smooth and they have a monitor screen that shows order numbers they are processing and those that are ready. The wait was about 20min for 2 items which was longer than expected but it was busy so we could understand. The staff/family were so friendly and kind, they even gave our food boxes in their own branded HK Station reusable bags! We ordered deeply fried soft shell crab and deep fried squid tentacles, which were both delicious with chefs kisses. Fresh, hot, and crispy without being overly battered or oily. Fresh seafood meat, and great portions too. I also loved how both the main items were placed over a bed of crispy shrimp chips and a side salad with the soft shell crab- extra treat! I can’t wait to try more of their items and especially confusing to support local small family biz ?? I just hope they announce all their whereabouts so I can follow their food truck ? thank you!“
“Your run of the mill take out Chinese food place! But still so tasty! When they offer those fritters that are kinda sweet in the circle or football shape iykyk I usually am so happy that I can get it and the rest of the meal just goes so well for me!This place is no exception! And I can’t believe I can get these fritters any time! Also the ho fun was nice! Like this dai pai dong spots in scarbough kinda taste! and having the beef honfun after so long totally hit the spot!Service was quick as we ordered for pick up and immediately ready when I got there on time from when they told me it would be available! And the lady at the counter was super friendly too!Great job overall!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!“
“One of my family’s favourite spots for peking duck. We’ve been dining at Peking Man Restaurant for a few years (since their old location on Sheppard Ave.), and food has always been consistently delicious, whether it is for takeout or dine-in. Highly recommended!“
“Decor was nice. Ordered the 4 person Lobster & Birds Nest set.All dishes were good. The following were standouts:-Crab Meat with Seafood Thick Soup: contained a ton of different kinds of seafood-Sweet and Sour Pork: not a part of the above combo and ordered separately, pork was very juicy and tender and the batter surrounding it was thin but crunchy-Prawn & Scallop with Salted Egg Yolk: scallops were very tender and the salted egg yolk added a very nice bit of flavor-Lobster in Hong Kong Style: lobster tasted great and the meat was tender, this seems to be the only restaurant in the area that still uses deepfried noodlefish to complement the lobster instead of French fries“
“We visited the First Markham Place location. There's plenty of parking but it can get really busy. The restaurant is clean with an upscale feel compared to other Dumplings restaurants. We ordered the Soup Dumplings, Pork and Chives Dumplings and the Hot & Sour soup. The dumplings were delicious with their wrap on the thinner side just like I like them. The soup had a nice consistency and flavour. The downside is the cost is on the pricier side. Service was minimal but efficient. This is worth a visit!“
“Happy Fishman was recommended to me by a friend. It caters mainly to Chinese customers, so sometimes it's very difficult to communicate with the servers. When we came in, they didn't know how to welcome us because we were Southeast Asians but we were able to find a common ground. The food tasted authentic Chinese food. There was this signature taste that you can only get when food is cooked in a gas fire.We ordered lobster, fried rice, steamed fish, etc, and it all came fresh and piping hot to our table. We were very friendly with our servers even though we were communicating through sign language.I highly recommend this restaurant. If you can get past the communication barrier, the dishes tasted heavenly, we also got free Hongkong style coffee on our way out.The prices are acceptable, and servings are not skimpyParking: Parking is full during the weekend especially after 12 pm“
“Wife and I stopped by this place after leaving the hospital. Great price and place for wings, had the wings and garlic parm fries. Wife had halibut and greek salad. Delicious food, great prices, and even better atmosphere! will be coming back very soon.“
“I've read that this is actually a sister resto of Fishman Clubhouse w/ the same ownership?Anyways, our group was celebrating two joint bdays between 2 ladies (my gf and one of her besties) and as a group we were originally planning to go to Fishman but they were fully booked out. Thus, we decided to try Jumbo Lobster. It was my first timer here.Parking lot was plentiful, there was a ton of spots so that shouldn't be an issue. The decor was more modern than Fishman imo (also the lighting was brighter).I had heard that the most ppl came here for a lobster + suckling pig set combo but I didn't do any of the ordering (it was handled by one of the bday girls) so unfortunately I'll have to return to try some suckling pig.As far as what we ordered, we decided to forego crab in our set and opted for additional lobster topping off at 30+ lbs of lobster for our party.Lobster mountain: The lobster is a carbon copy of the quality you'd get at Fishman. Very tasty and succulent sweet meat. The fried garlic chips are amazing as usual. Fishman started using fries instead of the tiny fried fishies throughout their towers and the bottom of the mountains a couple years back and that practice is maintained at this resto. What I WILL say however, is even though I think I prefer the fried fishies over the fries, this resto DOES have better fries than Fishman. They had more flavour and the fries are crispier here.Black pepper beef tenderloin: I was delighted w/ the quality of this dish. It was on par with the beef tenderloin at Starchiva, which is the benchmark for beef tenderloin for me right now imo. The beef was cut into BIG BOI chunks but remained super tender.Sweet n sour pork: I had my hopes up for this dish cuz of the fact that this resto was under the same banner as Fishman Clubhouse. Fishman Clubhouse has the best sns pork. The shell just shatters like glass on their sns pork (and it's a seafood resto rather than a canto resto!). I figured it would be the same here but unfortunately, it's not same level as Fishman's. Still good but just didn't wow me.Fried rice: The fried rice had good flavour. It was a lil uncoventional because I don't remember lobster tomalley fried rice having peas in it. The peas were kinda weird but it had good 'wok hay'.Snow pea leaves w/ goji berries in broth: Excellent pea shoots! Not oily at all.Coconut and yuzu jelly pudding: Dessert was meh. It was complimentary ofc but I'd much rather have the walnut or black sesame soup they used to serve over at Fishman Clubhouse.P.S. We managed to conquer the whole lobster mountain but not all the fries. I reckon there was at least 4 lbs (or more) of fries at the bottom of the tower (it could've been a food challenge on its own seriously). Keep in mind they create the layers of the meat mountain w/ fries as "glue" in between. We asked for takeout boxes and were able to fill like 7-8 FULL boxes of fries and garlic chips leftover.“
“A nice bright fish & chip joint, lightly battered fish fillets of halibut, haddock & Cod, super crispy outside with moist flaky fish inside, served piping hot with crunchy coleslaw, large servings at reasonable prices, efficient service with friendly staff.“
“I was greeted by friendly staff members when I arrived then I ordered the curry crab with the meal for 3 combo. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and fresh the seafood was plus the portions were big! The curry crab flavour was spectacular and the tom yum soup base also was delicious. Customer service was excellent- everytime I asked them for something like napkins or when I dropped my utensils and needed another one they were on top of it. I can’t wait to go back again!“
