“lobster tower is expensive but sooooo good, seasoning is on point, meat tender not over cooked, we got veggies, steamed fish and fried rice with our combo and the portions are big. I'd come here for special occassions or if you crave fresh seafood, go for the combo it's better bang for the buck, reserve a table and bring cash, try the king crab it's also super juicy and yummy“

“Attended a funeral luncheon Oct14/26 and staff were so amazing to handle an impromptu number of attendees. Friendly, efficient, and good food (as always). I have been several times in past for lunch/ dinner and every time was great. Clean restrooms. Accessible friendly.“

“The halibut and chips were amazing. Great portions and the halibut was meaty with just the right amount of crispiness. Completely the same as another well known classic Scarborough fish and chips spot (which was closed) so we tried this! The service was great. We called in advance and picked it up. The chips are classically cut as you would expect from a great fish and chips place. Fresh and delicious! Great value too.“

“Went to Bluffers Restaurant for a 60th Birthday this past weekend in October and I must say it was fantastic! We have been there several times over the past years including two weddings in the event space, and several corporate events which were all really good. This time we were in the restaurant portion of the facility, and although it is small, the setting is gorgeous, looking over the marina in Bluffers park! Service and food were exceptional! Since it was a larger group event, we had limited choices to choose from the fixed menu ... including a Surf & Turf dish as an option. I was floored when out dinners arrived to the table .. all served hot and on time. The presentation was amazing with a large steak on the bottom, and a lobster tail on top, surrounded by different vegetables. An exceptional meal that almost everyone had ordred. Maybe the best Surf and Turf I have ever enjoyed. It was that good. I wish I had taken a picture to includ here. The other dishes including a salmon dish were also really generous portioins, and good. And value for money .... I checked the price of the Surf and Turf dish on the main menu .... $60 including a steak and a lobster. Exceptiional value .. well over a $100 anywhere else. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is so deserving of this review. We will go back soon. I am a regular at The Keg,which I have found a little dissappointing the last couple of visits. Maybe this is our new spot. A little out of the way for us, but certainly worth the dirve. Thanks You to the owners of Bluffers Restaurant. A gem on thew waterfront!“

“Had been looking forward to visiting for ages, but the restaurant is an hour away from me. Great service. Fish was lovely, chips were delicious and so were mushy peas. Only thing that would have made it better was more selections of diet drink. Interior might need an update soon“

“My friends and I have now been going to Gabby's for quite a few times, maybe about 6 by now, usually on Sundays. The last couple of times have been on a Friday and Monday. We are mostly handicapped, using walkers or a wheelchair. I usually make the reservation, and specify a table near the lovely large windows. It has never been a problem on Sundays, but there seems to be one waitress who objects to our sitting near the window as we will "block" the servers. It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays. We love this restaurant and the food and atmosphere is so great, usually. Most disappointing.“

“I’m not kidding, this place has the best Yellow Bridge (Huangqiao) pastry 黃橋燒餅 on this planet. I have travelled to many parts of China in the last 50 years and sampled similar pastry items. The chef and owner Mr. Ng has run 200 experimental trials to achieve the desired result. The atmosphere, I have to be honest, is not great. The service is friendly in the traditional Chinese way. It’s definitely worth your visit and you can tell people you have tasted the best YBP (Yellow Bridge Pastry or sesame cake) on planet earth.“

“Went into the restaurant today for lunch. Ordered two jerk chicken meals with rice and peas and coleslaw. Pure Jamaican vibes. Rice and peas really moist. Jerk seasoning was legit. Tasted like it was made from real spices not premade spices. Had a nice convo with the owner talking about business and the community. If you value Jamaican food and the culture, you’ll feel as though you’re in a small restaurant on the island. Real talk.“

“Really enjoyed their halibut fish and chips.

Didn’t get a chance to try their haddock so not sure if it’s worth the ~$5 premium but I loved my dish and would definitely go back when in the area and recommend it to others in the area too.

The dining area is relatively small as they only have 2 tables so I’d consider this primarily a takeout establishment but I was lucky to get a seat and enjoy mine fresh.

The lady was kind and took my order over the phone so I didn’t have to wait long to get it was I was in a bit of a rush too.“

“The decoration of this place seems pretty old. All day with same price on small, medium and large size dim sum.
Services were not bad, food came in really quick. Dim sum were okay I won’t say it is the best but hey what do you expect you eat what you pay for！“

“We had an overall fantastic experience at Affy’s Premium Grill on Lebovic! We came out as a family to celebrate our child’s birthday and it turned out to be the perfect spot for it. The food was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

“Grandeur Palace is a great stop for weekday and weekend dim sum! You know it's a good place when the servers chat with their regulars in their native language (mostly Cantonese). The servers are dressed nicely and take care to keep the tables neat.

As for the food? It'll vary from person to person but I liked it a lot because they were neither too salty nor oily. They also make mooncakes in house during the Mid Autumn Moon festival so give them a try!

Ample parking in front and around though it can definitely fill up later in the day.“
