“Probably the tastiest chicken burger I have EVER had!! The owner was so nice when i asked how spicy the burger was he had us sample the taste. He came by later to ask how we liked it. It was amazing, the place is super beautiful and the chicken was so soft yummy. Found a new gem in Scarborough“

“I am usually not a Taco typa guy, but this place got me reconsidering my life choices. It was actually really realllly good. Fresh ingredients and delicious food. The Birria Tacos were excellent, so much flavor in every bite. We tried the Chicken Tacos and Beef Tacos, and they were really good as well. We also got the Chicken and the Steak Quesadillas, and boy oh boy, they were so juicy and yummy. The kids loved em. Lol they thought it was a new type of pizza. We will be back again to try the fish tacos, they were sold out. And I personally will be back for those Birrias. Ps, If you are there and not sure what to get, like we were, ask the staff, they were really helpful at making great recommendations.“

“Chai Kee has similar style as the previous Jim Chai Kee in Richmond hill. The difference is that this one is self served style with a famous speciality - pork liver noodle. Pork liver is something you cannot make it well and at Chai Kee, it is very well made. Their menu is somewhat specialized a beef, pork liver and fish ball (more like fresh fish paste) . They have nice noodles , deep fried fish skin and for some reason, they have condensed milk toast with milk tea. I have been there at least four times :) At the beginning , it was very crowded but now it is a nice busy pace. I love their pork liver and beef noodle . I also had fish ball and liver noodle too. What I liked about them: 1. Amazing price 2. Good food and the pork liver is amazing 3. Very clean 4. Nice service So I’d recommend chai Kee for a good wholesome noodle place For an amazing price“

“We stopped by Harry’s after working in the area. I wasn’t too familiar with the neighborhood, but you can spot a true burger institution right away—and this place is just that.

It’s a small spot, mostly geared toward takeout, with a bit of bar seating available. I ordered the classic homemade banquet burger with fries, and it delivered exactly what I was looking for. In a city full of modern smashed burger spots, this hit that craving for a proper, old-school burger.

The bacon was done perfectly—not too crispy, not too soft. The patty had that classic homemade blend taste you can tell has been consistent for years. Fries were standard cut, nothing fancy, but solid—and you can season them yourself at the counter, which is a nice touch.

“I visited this restaurant recently when I was working in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch. I had the special of the day, with fries and a pop, it was fairly priced when compared with similar restaurants. I dined in, as they have some tables and chairs at the front, everything was clean and ready to eat on. My order was ready quickly, and came hot and well presented. The staff was polite and welcoming the entire time I was there. I would definitely come back again.“

I was just going to walk away because having worked in the food industry for a bit, I know how troubling it is for the workers to take more orders after cleaning up. However, the worker named Wilson there was very kind to me and offered to take my order. When I was paying, the worker had some small talks with me and found out I was biking in the cold, he bagged the food for me very carefully. It was very heart-warming on a chilly October night.🥹

“It is ironic to write a review for a restaurant which I have been visiting for 12+ years!! I have witnessed the expansion of the restaurant to multiple locations in GTA. Thanks to an article in Toronto Star food section years ago, which totally changed the fate of the restaurant. I still recalled the line up after the article.
Well they have to be good to sustain so many years.
They once won the Best HK style milk tea award in Hongkong, an amazing competitor from Toronto then.

Yes, their HK milk tea is still great, food is fine nothing fancy.They have expanded their menu to satisfy needs for all ages.
When you spent $15 for a McDonald's combo, this place, with their simple combo, would be far better alternative.“

I really enjoyed this smoked rendition of jerk chicken and the food overall was very flavorful. Also ordered a beverage which included pineapple, coconut, and flaxseed which was also very tasty. If you are in Scarborough, the East of Toronto, make sure to check out this take out restaurant. They are open 12-8 pm Mon-Fri, 8-8pm Sat. They have lunch specials on weekdays and have recently introduced breakfast Caribbean style on Saturdays too.“
