“I haven't had such delicious chicken tenders in a long time. I'm truly impressed by the spices and the chicken itself; everything was perfect, ten out of ten. I also tried the Zinger burger, which was delicious too, and the fries were very tasty. The service was a bit slow, though; waiting half an hour seems a bit long for tenders. I wish there was
Wi-Fi or a small restroom. Overall, the place is definitely worth trying.

“I am usually not a Taco typa guy, but this place got me reconsidering my life choices. It was actually really realllly good. Fresh ingredients and delicious food. The Birria Tacos were excellent, so much flavor in every bite. We tried the Chicken Tacos and Beef Tacos, and they were really good as well. We also got the Chicken and the Steak Quesadillas, and boy oh boy, they were so juicy and yummy. The kids loved em. Lol they thought it was a new type of pizza. We will be back again to try the fish tacos, they were sold out. And I personally will be back for those Birrias. Ps, If you are there and not sure what to get, like we were, ask the staff, they were really helpful at making great recommendations.“

“This is the best Swiss Chalet in the GTA! The food is always well prepared, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and most importantly, the service is outstanding! So welcoming and friendly! Even the owner often walks around and says Hello. Everybody there is so personal. It feels like a family.

“Chai Kee has similar style as the previous Jim Chai Kee in Richmond hill. The difference is that this one is self served style with a famous speciality - pork liver noodle. Pork liver is something you cannot make it well and at Chai Kee, it is very well made. Their menu is somewhat specialized a beef, pork liver and fish ball (more like fresh fish paste) . They have nice noodles , deep fried fish skin and for some reason, they have condensed milk toast with milk tea. I have been there at least four times :) At the beginning , it was very crowded but now it is a nice busy pace. I love their pork liver and beef noodle . I also had fish ball and liver noodle too. What I liked about them: 1. Amazing price 2. Good food and the pork liver is amazing 3. Very clean 4. Nice service So I’d recommend chai Kee for a good wholesome noodle place For an amazing price“

“I recently visited Pizza Hut at Sheppard & Brimley in Scarborough and had a great experience. The pizzas were absolutely delicious—fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The crust was perfectly baked and the toppings were generous.

“A lot of popeyes locations are hit or miss apparently, I figured that out when I tell people about my love for popeyes from other areas, and then when I tried other locations. This location is great, the chicken is always well seasoned and cooked well. Even if I am closer to a different popeyes location I go out of my way to come here instead for quality.“

“I was pleasantly surprised when I moved nearby two days ago and noticed how many people from the neighborhood were coming in. I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did!

The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. The place also reminded me of one of my best client(Gina) who owns a Souvlaki restaurant in Peterborough. When I showed her a picture of this place, she immediately recognized Gina and said, “Yesss, she’s the best!” Turns out she knows her and her family.

“Have had Shamrock's a few times since I live nearby and also went to UTSC.

Im giving it 4 stars however the menu can be hit or miss depending on what you get. Prices for a standard burger and fries combo are very solid.

The good:

The signature Rockstar burger is a must get and where this place shines. The flavour of the meat in this burger can be put up against other local favourites like McCoy's and Johnnny's and competes. Patty is very well seasoned and has a nice char/flamebroiled taste. Toppings are personal preference but have been fresh each time that i've ordered. 5/5

Im also a fan of their fries, which are hand cut in house and have a slight crisp but have a very potato forward taste/interior. 4/5

The shakes are also solid nothing too crazy but very good. 3.5/5

The bad:

Really did not like the spicy clucker which is their spicy chicken sandwich. The ingredients really do not work well together and it just wasn't good at all. The chicken patty is a grocery store emulsified meat fillet. The bun is a pretzel bun which doesnt work with the already really salty bacon. Honestly took 2 bites and threw out the rest. This sandwich is just doing too much. Honestly would probably just be a lot better if they used a normal bun with a white meat breaded breast/tender or even breaded thighs with a standard spicy mayo. 0/5“

“I had the swisslicious would was wonderful from the burger to the bun. I am going to have to resists stopping here too often but I plan on trying many more things from the menu. Also they have tables to sit at which is becoming more and more rare.“

I had the special of the day, with fries and a pop, it was fairly priced when compared with similar restaurants. I dined in, as they have some tables and chairs at the front, everything was clean and ready to eat on. My order was ready quickly, and came hot and well presented. The staff was polite and welcoming the entire time I was there. I would definitely come back again.“

A special shoutout to Sheelah, who happily took my order with a smile the entire time, it really made my visit enjoyable. I’d also like to recognize the female manager (I believe) who was working on July 23. She patiently opened every glass tumbler for customers who purchased one so they could inspect it for any damage. I’m sure it wasn’t the most exciting task, but she handled it with such a positive attitude and a smile on her face.

Despite being a very busy location, the restaurant is clean, organized, and you can tell the staff works incredibly hard. I’ve become a big fan of Jollibee’s chicken sandwiches and spaghetti. I’d highly recommend this location for both the great food and the outstanding customer service.“
