St. Andrews Fish & Chips Reviews
Had been looking forward to visiting for ages, but the restaurant is an hour away from me. Great service. Fish was lovely, chips were delicious and so were mushy peas. Only thing that would have made it better was more selections of diet drink. Interior might need an update soon
Family run for 42 years means dinner perfection. We selected crispy golden delicious halibut and perfect fries with pillowy centres and a crisp exterior … you’ll be happy you saved room for your choice of deep fried dessert. St. Andrew’s is our new favourite fish n chip location … yes, it’s worth the drive 🤗
We ordered the halibut and cod fish and chips along with the sticky toffee pudding.
The fish and chips was amazing, the batter was thin and crisp and the fish came in good sized portions. The chips were thick cut, crispy on the outside, and fluffy in the middle.
The sticky toffee pudding was great, we thought it would be too sweet, but we couldn’t stop eating it.
We went on a Tuesday and it wasn’t too busy, so our food came out fast.
