“Some friends and I went there today for the first time since moving to town. We spent about 3 hours there playing board games, had amazing service, an just absolutely delicious meals for a great price. We got cards from the store, and overall had a great time and the vibe was extremely welcoming. Definitely found my favourite hangout spot in town, would recommend to anyone who wants a great meal, loves fantasy, card or roleplaying games.“
“Cutest place, small but spacious, nice decor. Modern. Very clean.Lovely staff. Very good pricing!! Family of 4 got a delicious lunch for $33 total!!The food was so good.I had the potato bacon soup which was so good and came with nice baguette bread for $6, my husband got the Greek salad and Chicken Wrap for $14 and the kids shared chicken strips (4 large pieces) with tons of fries. So so yummy.Waters and coffees. Amazed at the price.“
“Mega Burger is hands down the best burger joint in, not only Georgetown, but the surrounding area.Their burgers are fresh, tasty and juicy. They make amazing Gyros as well. The owner and his team are amazingly nice and considerate people who make consistently amazing food. Check them out now.“
“This is my favourite "greasy spoon" in Georgetown. Happy to say the change in management has not affected the quality of the food.Update: Nowadays, the Georgeview is rarely open after lunch. This makes it a less than idyllic place to choose as my favourite local greasy spoon. Pity.Parking: Lots of free parking, some out front and lots more in the back.Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant so kids are welcome.“
“Busy location, and now I know why! Juicy burgers and crispy fries. The bonus was the awesome poutine! Ever since "The Mess Hall" permanently closed, it's been difficult to find a solid poutine place in Georgetown and the surrounding areas.Ketchup portions can be bigger. Air ventilation/circulation needs to be stronger. Call outs when your order is ready need to be louder.Overall, I'd definitely come back!Parking: A few spots out front and along the side of the establishment.“
“This place is a pretty good option! Great for hanging with friends. It gets quite busy here, probably one of the more popular places in Georgetown I'd say.I got seating pretty fast even though it was a busy Saturday night. In terms of the food, it was decent, the calamari was a little too salty but the chicken tenders were good! They have plenty of sauce options. The drinks were okay, I'd have to go back to try other ones to really judge. The atmosphere here at night is very dark/dimly lit. I was falling asleep in there so that's one thing to think aboutParking: There are a limited number of spots but it shouldn't be too hard to find parking as there's a hotel beside it, not sure if you're allowed to park there though“
“It's a noisy little diner. But even when they're busy they have a quick turn over therefore they do their best to make your wait time short. The thing that would make it more enjoyable is if the mall opened earlier on the weekends. They text your phone to let you know when your table is ready therefore if the shops opened earlier it would be a nice way to pass the time. All the meals we had and others around us were fantastic. They come around with coffee often. I highly recommend you try this gem. We have gone a few weekends in a row and they are starting to remember us. I love this place.“
