“Fantastic place with comfortable wooden seating benches, pillows along the windows seating, eclectic posters and decor and buzzy but not overtly loud or obnoxious convo happening. Although £12 for my lentil burger made me blanche, the generous sides of salad and housemade slaw (I asked for no fries nor burger bun) made it all worth it. There’s so much on the plate I boxed half for home (I had drank a smoothie before I had arrived here). The slaw in particular is divine: it doesn’t have that gross mayo gloppiness I usually despise. It’s quite fresh. There’s a lovely vinaigrette on the greens and the burger has a moreish artichoke sauce. The staff is friendly as are the customers; dog-friendly too!”

We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday here, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with personalized live music and a cake. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the night even more memorable. The food here is absolutely incredible—nothing less than what you’d get at the best places in New Delhi, India, in terms of taste and quality. Every dish was a delight and added to the wonderful experience. A special shoutout to our server, Meet—he’s an absolute rockstar in hospitality and customer service! His attentiveness and warm demeanor made the experience exceptional. The hospitality industry, especially in the west, needs more people like him. I have no doubt he’ll thrive and excel in this field. Desi Bar & Grill is hands down the most lively pub I’ve experienced in Canada in my more than half a decade here. “Came here for the grilled chicken breast sandwich for lunch. The sandwich was very good quality, with lots of tender chicken breast meat inside cooked fresh to order and served in a tasty brioche style bun with the usual burger toppings and their own burger sauce - reminds me of Big Mac sauce but very good !

“Me and my boyfriend went to Contigo for the first time last weekend. We got the jerk chicken burrito bowl and 4 veggie taco deal (sweet potato, falafel, mushroom, and black beans) on corn tostadas. As a vegetarian, I felt like there was a lot of veg options to choose from and I really enjoyed trying different variety of tacos. We also got the mango Jarrito drink as well as a tres leches milk cake. Everything was pretty affordable and came quick. There’s also music blasting, the World Cup playing, and pure good vibes!!
