Today I brought a friend to have lunch here. It was her first time. We both enjoyed the delicious soup and she had a scone too. I am originally from England and this place feels like a little piece of home. It’s lovely to have your tea in a china tea cup with a tea pot.I brought home some sausage rolls for my husband and he loved them. Said they are the best he has had. We visit this bakery now and then, for a nice croissant, a chocolate mousse pie (+++ would really recommend!) or another small sweet treat. It's a small bakery, but there is a nice seating area and you have a coffee with a treat and enjoy the view of the people walking by on Georgetown's main street. We will visit more often ??

Excellent home style bakery. They have something for everyone. The homemade bread is just like grandmom's. Their soup and sandwiches make for a great inexpensive lunch. Their squares cheesecakes, loads and scones are absolutely delicious.
