“6 of us went for some Assamese specialties, which we enjoyed immensely, along with what we might think of as more usual Indian fare. The specialties we tried: salmon steaks prepared in an Assamese way, delicious; wonderful and very flavourful mustard greens and a delicious potato eggplant mix. The went chef was very helpful. This little gem of a restaurant is worth a visit and call ahead to order their specialties.“

“Came in to Curry and Chutney for lunch with the family after a visit to the public library nearby. The place is beautifully decorated, very chic decor. Good for a date night. The food is pure veg and isn't too bad. We had the malai kofta with Naan which was pretty good. The dahi chaat was okish, but the palak dosa and filter coffee were very good. The reduced star is for the chaat dish which missed the mark. The service for pretty good and fast. There is parking available around the complex, so pretty convenient location.“

“Kings Kurry was incredibly accommodating. They catered our family dinner for Easter. And we definitely thought it was be an inconvenience; seeing how it was such a last minute request. But they whipped it up in just a day and had three platters ready for us. The manager even helped haul the food out to our car in the rain and hail. They have such incredible customer service and honestly great food family loved it and they made the experience quite memorable. 100% visit again. Did I mention that 50% of those were vegan / vegetarian. Are many options for meat eaters vegetarian vegans and many more!

On a separate occasion we also died in comedy the atmosphere was great the music was amazing and the customer service and wait staff were incredibly kind to us.

“We recently ordered catering from Shayona for an event, and it was an absolute hit. The food was outstanding—every dish was packed with flavor and clearly made with care.

The Undhiyu was rich and perfectly spiced, the Daal had a great balance of flavors, and the Dhokla was soft, fresh, and just melted in your mouth. The Shrikhand was the perfect finishing touch—creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet.

Every single guest loved the food and kept going back for seconds, which says a lot. The entire process—from ordering to delivery—was smooth and professional, making everything stress-free.

We were disappointed with the service provided by Shriti. When we asked for some foil to wrap our roti, she handed us a piece that did not appear clean, which was concerning. Additionally, she was quite rude in her interactions and was constantly yelling at a coworker in front of customers. This created an uncomfortable and awkward atmosphere during our visit. We hope management addresses these issues, as good customer service and professionalism are important to the overall dining experience.

“I had very good food from them. The dal makhani was very good and well priced considering it has gone up I noticed. First time trying Pakora... amazing and well priced. The peas Palau looked like they added some biryani rice in it, it was a bit spicy but still good. The garlic naan was a bit underdone so I cooked it. I would improve there but otherwise good food and well priced. Will definitely be going back.“

“I order from Jay Bhavani every week, and hands down, they have the best vada pav in Canada. It reminds me so much of Mumbai. The taste is authentic, spicy, and full of flavor.

I also tried the Frankie and it was awesome! The Baraki pizza was okay, but the vada pav is definitely the star. The vada is a good size, fills you up, and hits the spot every time.

I love how spicy the food is, but honestly, make it even spicier! My only issue is that I’m not able to keep up with my diet anymore, but you only live once!“

“Our group of 7 went to this place for dinner. The food was great and the service was very attentive. We had garlic naan, tawa roti, kadhi pakora, paneer lababdar, chilli paneer and moong dal barfi. Everyone in our group loved the food. The seats were a little cramped but overall, we enjoyed our dinner and would not hesitate visiting again.“

“My family & I have been visiting Madras Dosa Hut since its inception over 20 years ago and it is by far the best Dosa restaurant in Canada !

The huge variety of dosas are incredible (our favourites are the Egg & cheese, Mysore Masala, Karai & Pav Baji dosas). Other dishes such as their biriyani and Butter chicken are superb.

Our favourite appetizers are the Thayir Vadai ( crispy lentil fritters in yogurt sauce) & their Fish cutlets to name a few. The mango shakes are another level of happiness and usually a family treat when we visit. The service is impeccable and Seenu always welcomes up with so much warmth.
