“If you're in the area and craving decent Indian food, this place is a great option. So far, we've had their lamb korma, chicken korma, and prawn madras, and all three have been delicious. We paired them with some jasmine rice and their paratha, and we were more than satisfied.

Their service was also great. It wasn't too busy when we were there, so we received a warm welcome and enough attention to feel comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed the experience enough that we’ll definitely be coming back.“

“We have passed the sign for Dhillon's Karahi many times without eating there. That is our loss. We decided on a whim to check it out this evening and were delighted with our meal. The samosas were delicious: having the sauces on top, rather than on the side, gave them a special flavour. The mixed vegetables and Lamb Korma were perfectly done. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the bits of onion and bell pepper added a nice crunch and freshness. The garlic bread was crisp, buttery, and paired so well with the pasta — great for dipping into that smooth sauce. A comforting, satisfying meal that I’d definitely love to have again!“

“Absolutely delicious authentic indian food! You can tell this restaurant gets the best ingredients and puts in the effort in their spices. We went around 6 people, great and convenient location, just 5 min walk from Bloor and Yonge Station. We ordered Samosa Chat, Cheese Nan and Chicken Tikka Masala from the appetizer and had Lababdar and Special Butter Chicken in the main course. I must say, the food was so delicious, I am in love with Chicken Tikka Masala. The service was also nice, Will definitely go again.“

We also tried a few other South Indian dishes, and everything tasted authentic and delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the service was quick. “This is such a lucky find. I was craving samosa for the last two days and I was going to make them myself only to discover I don’t have all the spices needed. Being a rainy day February 20 2026 and not feeling the greatest I didn’t want to drive around in rush hour traffic. I came upon this place and I’m really grateful. They really do serve hot fresh home cooked food. I got three samosa and Chana masala and plain naan. Everything was made fresh by the three family members. Everything was flavourful without being too overpowering (I was worried about the Chana masala being too heavy on the onion and garlic but it’s wasn’t). The sweet sauce with the samosa was so good. I was sweating eating everything lol (I don’t think it’s every spicy it’s likely because I have been eating a lot of bland food lately) but I think that’s a good sign and just what my body needed to help me feel better. Overall my total was either $14 or $16 and it was really filling. While I was waiting there was another man there getting a large order and then another man came in and asked me if the food was good there. So we both came across this place randomly today and were trying it for the first time. If you see this I hope you also enjoyed your meal!

Momo filling is well seasoned. You can easily slam back a whole plate.

Word of warning though for parents, depending on your kids, there is a touch of spice in the steamed momos about the same intensity as a crack of black pepper. Our kids haven't opened up to spice yet, which we didnt expect from steamed momos. They're good momos, don't get us wrong.

“Last night, I had dinner with my friends at a fantastic restaurant. The seating area was great, and the service was excellent. I tried plenty of curry dishes, but the lamb vindaloo and butter chicken were especially outstanding. The authentic taste truly lingered on my tongue. The samosas and pakoras were also delicious. Another favorite dish of mine was the tandoori chicken, which was absolutely amazing.“

“I tried the chicken biryani, veg mix pakoda, and tea from Shahi Rasoi, and I was genuinely impressed. After trying food from more than 70 places across the GTA, I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem.

The prices feel like they’re from 20 years ago, but there is absolutely no compromise on taste or quality. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and felt truly homemade.

What made the experience even more special was the lady running the place. She reminded me of my mom—so warm, caring, and welcoming. The hospitality was amazing and gave me that genuine “maa ke haath ka khana” feeling that is hard to find these days.
