Kadak Toronto Reviews
Myself and 3 friends just tried Kadak for their Summerlicious Menus and we were extremely pleased with our choice! Their 3 course menu had lovely options and the server (owner?) asked if we would like to share so we could try more dishes and it was a great idea. All dishes were put in the middle of the table. We loved everything! It's the best Indian food I've had and the others in our party agreed. It's definitely worth a try and we will be back!
If you're looking for a quaint indian restaurant with delicious indian food and excellent service, Kadak is the place. Try the Peacock cocktail, served in a delightful cup. We also had the butter chicken, the Aamchi mutton ( goat) and the kale saag paneer. Everything was flavorful, the meats were well seasoned and soft. Dessert was the Gulab Jamoon creme brulee. Kadak Toronto is a restaurant with a great atmosphere and a lovely room. The service is impeccable, friendly, helpful, and conversational without being intrusive. The food is very tasty, well flavoured, and excellent. Specific meals mentioned include chicken tikka masala, onion and leek pakora, Kadak’s Samosa chaat, dal bukhara, truffle cheese naan, Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, and Kadak Chai served with Parle-G biscuits. The chicken tikka masala has a well-balanced heat level that enhances the meal, while the Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji are amazing and truly authentic. The portion sizes are good. The restaurant is very accommodating to dietary needs, with options for those who cannot have gluten, dairy, and tomatoes. The set 3 course menu during Summerlicious does not disappoint. The only feedback is about the way the mains are plated in the pre fixed menu. The prices are on the pricier side, but the authentic flavors and nostalgic experience make it worth an occasional visit.
