“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.“

“This white sauce pasta was absolutely delicious! The sauce was perfectly creamy, rich, and flavorful with just the right balance of herbs and spices. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the bits of onion and bell pepper added a nice crunch and freshness. The garlic bread was crisp, buttery, and paired so well with the pasta — great for dipping into that smooth sauce. A comforting, satisfying meal that I’d definitely love to have again!“

“Had such a great time at Indraprastha. The food was honestly amazing—so fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. I especially loved the tandoori chicken and ghee roast biryani but everything we tried was spot on. The vibe of the place is just perfect too—warm, welcoming, and really nicely done without feeling over the top. It’s one of those spots you fell in love with.The moment you walk in, the space feels inviting and thoughtfully designed. “I was craving for Biryani with the authentic taste,after googling this restaurant and went for dine in. We ordered boneless chicken Biryani, lamb Biryani,paneer sizzler,garlic naan and chicken 65. Everything was delicious and exactly what I was craving for in Biryani, taste not spicy yet very flavorful. Portions size was great,took left over home. Kaushal was very polite and helpful, will definitely come back.“

“Feb 18 2024 This was my first experience having South Indian cuisine. We relied on the expert recommendations from our server Akeel. The Dosas, Pav Bhaji, Spiced Lassi and Mango lassi were delish!! “I’ve been to Biryani Nation a couple of times, and you might think I’m saying this just because I’m South Indian but honestly, that’s not the case. I’ve never taken the time to review any Indian restaurant in Canada until now, and that’s because this place truly deserves it.

Their pulao is outstanding I’ve tried both their veg and non-veg options and I’m in love with both. You can genuinely taste the chef’s passion in every bite; it feels like the food is made with love.

So far, this is the best spot I’ve found for authentic, flavorful Indian food. Highly recommended“

“We visited Ishq Restaurant to try their famous 5-ft dosa, and it was definitely an experience! The dosa is huge and perfect for sharing. It was crispy, flavorful, and a fun dish to try if you love South Indian food.

The only downside was the wait. Even for dine-in, you need to stand in line, and when we visited it was quite crowded, so we had to wait some time before getting seated.

Overall, the 5-ft dosa is worth trying at least once, especially if you're going with friends or family. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times! Also, the tables felt a bit too close to each other, so the space felt a little tight.“

“What an epic place to eat -- tasty and healthy meal. We have tried multiple things such as chicken Tikka roll, kebab roll, shahi paneer bowl etc. The chicken Tikka roll is my go to. The flavors are on point, the spice doesn't take away from the flavors. And the bread that they use... wow! The bread is fresh, not chewy and doesn't take over the filling. And the best part is that they use genuine green chutney that our we are use to of at our homes! It is amazing to have a roll that is not filled with coleslaw to fill the empitness. If you order chicken you get chicken and not salad with 2 -3 piece chicken!We have tried so many rolls that claim to be authentic or desi style but it nothing truly compares except for these guys. Hands down the best in town and I can finally say we have something straight from Delhi that is equally good if not better.“

“Mom and Pop operated gem for East African style Indian take-out food. Excellent quality! Friendly helpful service from this older couple. Beef ribs, mishkaki (marinated beef chunks), tandoori offerings, mogo (cassava), etc., located on Warden Ave, just north of the 401. I will drive there from the west side of Toronto for their food and will pick up a variety of authentic dishes, very reasonably priced to keep my fridge stocked for a few days. Wish they were closer but just so glad they are still around. No tables, parking available in a strip mall.“

“We found Lucile's a few months ago and my family and I are addicted. They cook their jerk chicken fresh everyday on the drum pan grill (authentic tings) so you get flavour to the bone! The fried chicken is delicious, rice and peas soft and coleslaw..bay-bee , sooo good we be asking for extra lol oh and customer service is AMAZING, always treated with so much love and respect. 10 stars! My favorite jamaican cuisine hands down!

“A great place to grab vegetarian pizza on the go! Bought a large pizza with 4 toppings, a tasty and spicy dipping sauce to dip that pizza crust in and a soft drink to digest it. It was worth the wait especially during a snow storm. For $34ish we ordered two kathi rolls, one chilli chicken which was quite yummy and one chicken tikka which was off-tasting. It didn't feel like a real tikka, maybe its just tikka seasoning they use. Tikka one also had a weird aftertaste so do not recommend. Fries were AMAZING, both rolls came with masala fries. Rolls on instagram look much bigger than in reality. Wait time was 25 minutes and the store was not busy.
The place is shared with Holy Shakes and also carries The Cheesecake Factory cakes. Milkshakes were tempting so will come back to try those.“
