“Great biryani, very flavourful and tasteful, I recommend trying the chicken tikka biryani, the chicken was really fresh and the amount of masala in the biryani was also perfect. They gave us extra raita for the biryani as well and the service was also great. Mr. Munir, was really helpful and sweet, felt like home❤️“

“Title: A Flavorful Feast: Tantalizing Tandoori Soya Chap & BiryaniDining at Indraprastha was an exquisite experience, with their Tandoori Soya Chap stealing the spotlight. The succulent, marinated soya chap was cooked to perfection in the tandoor, rendering it smoky and tender, bursting with aromatic spices that danced on my palate with every bite. Accompanied by a fragrant and flavorful biryani, rich with layers of spices, herbs, and perfectly cooked basmati rice, it was a symphony of tastes and textures that left me craving for more. Each spoonful of the biryani revealed tender chunks of vegetables and fragrant rice, a perfect complement to the robust flavors of the tandoori soya chap. Together, they created a culinary masterpiece that I won't soon forget. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable Indian dining experience.“
“One of the best place for Nepali & indian foodMomo was best esp jhol momo, chowmein was good as well. Mostly food are freshly prepared, unlike some other restaurants selling frozen items, freshly prepared hot and spicy samosa will melt you down.Must go place if you are looking for Nepali food in Scarborough area“

Coupled with the consistently excellent food and quality, this restaurant remains one of our favorites. We'll definitely be back, thanks to Kumar's outstanding service!“

“Balista is Indian Fusion at its finest! The restaurant has a great vibe, very clean, comfortable and modern. The staff and owners are very nice and welcoming. It’s 100% veg and also have a vegan menu. Everything we have had has been out of this world, their recipes are sooooo good. Delicious sandwiches, burgers, wraps, Tandoori pizza, pasta and some of the BEST fries we have ever had. They even have healthy rice bowls etc. There is really something there for everyone. They have many good specials such as burger wrap combos and the prices are very reasonable. We are beyond happy they have opened up in Malvern and love everything about it. Highly recommend giving this place a try. 10 out of 10.Vegetarian options: 100% vegDietary restrictions: 100% Veg with Vegan and Jain optionsParking: plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: yesWheelchair accessibility: yes“

“Yummy South Indian food. I haven’t eaten from a buffet in years but we were here on a Saturday morning and it looked good so we tried it. Great way to try many South Indian standards. Fresh dosa brought to the table, chai and mango lassi also included. Waiter brought fresh poori to our table when they were running low. Highly recommend if you are adventurous and in Toronto.“
“Authentic Bangladeshi restaurant, the restaurant is small but cozy. Their foods are amazing. One of best Beef Tehari I have tried in Canada. And in Tuesdays they have special deals for $10. I hope they will keep continuing these special deals.“
“Been coming to this place occasionally but never left a review. Visited again for lunch and here’s my take on this place.1. The food here is nothing short of exceptional. The dish I got bursts with flavor, and the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you're a fan of bold spices or subtle tastes, this place has something to satisfy every palate.2. The staff members are the heart and soul of this establishment. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their recommendations were spot-on. It's evident that they take pride in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for every guest.3. Situated in a convenient location, this restaurant is easy to find. Whether you're meeting friends after work or enjoying a family meal. Has ample seating space however it’s not entirely a big place. Plus, the cozy ambiance adds to the overall charm. In summary, if you're looking for a place with delectable food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere, check this place out! Bon appétit! ?️?“
“The Mandi was really amazing. First time we ordered tandoori chicken and Mandi for 2 which was tasty juice and the flavours were great. We came here second time the quality has been constant which we love about the food. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. We were served by Mohawk and rupinder. They are always smiling and it feels like a good atmosphere while having meal.“
“Don't let look of the strip mall deceive you. This is THE place if you are looking for authentic dosas, vadas, idlis, South Indian vegetarian food. Lots of options for dosa, we have tried a bunch and they are always great. This time we went early in the morning and didn't have to wait to be seated, food also came out super fast. They appear to have been renovated on the inside in the past couple of years. Service is great, ghee roast dosa, vadas and indian coffee were the highlights for me. There is enough parking here and usually have to wait to be seated if you go later in the day, so plan accordingly.Vegetarian options: Fully vegetarian restaurant.“
“Adda, a fine dining Bangladeshi restaurant in Toronto, offers a captivating journey through Bangladesh’s culinary landscape. From the exquisite Hilsa Fish Curry to the flavorful Adda Platter showcasing kebabs, every dish is a masterpiece. Vegetarian options like Bhindi Masala shine brightly. The ambiance blends modern elegance with Bangladeshi heritage, complementing the impeccable service. Don’t miss the heavenly Rasmalai for dessert. Adda’s decor, featuring traditional motifs, adds depth to the experience. Whether a connoisseur or a newcomer to Bangladeshi cuisine, Adda promises an unforgettable dining venture, celebrating the rich flavors and traditions of Bangladesh within its walls.“
“Ok I have to say that this was one of Best tasting oxtail and rice I’ve had! The Flavour was amazing. The only issue I found was that It was not much meat For 20$also I found the coleslaw was extremely sweet But definitely go back,in the future I would ask for the macaroni pie Instead of coleslaw?“
“I visited the Scarborough location on the 14th of March 2024 for the first time. The place was sadly not populated because the food here is simply excellent. My family will definitely be going again with friends and I confidently recommend this place. It authentic South Indian veg food and the taste of all the dishes we had were excellent and made us feel like being back in India. I have not tried any of the Hakka items so unable to comment on that menu. This is a relatively new location that opened just 8 months ago and I hope this place becomes popular as the food is great. I have also heard that their weekend buffet id excellent and not to be missed to get your moneys worth.“
“My mom and I decided to try out Healthy Spicy Kitchen on our way home and wow! We were so impressed! The food was just the right amount of spicy, super tasty, and the price was very affordable. Will definitely come back again to try more!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, and there are several sections dedicated to non-meat dishes.“
“So I’ve only tried their haleem and I honestly thought it was one of the best haleem’s I’ve had in Toronto, its consistency is slightly runnier than how deghi haleem is but its so resheydar and perfect in terms of spice, as a home cook I can say that they use their own masalas and their ratio is phenomenal. And no they didn’t pay me to leave a review, I genuinely loved their haleem!“
“At first glance the place has little lighting inside and looks unattractive. But they provide very good service and generous food portion size to customers. You can get more than enough portion from low priceI ordered a fried rice takeout and the food is about 2.5 to 3 times the portion shown in the picture. Never been to Malaysia so I can't say much about authenticity of taste but it tastes quite like South Asian style. One small thing I don't really like is they mainly use unsustainable packaging for takeout, but It's overall a good experience“
“GREAT GREAT experience thanks to restaurant manager PAULINE!!We had a big party for Iftar (40+) and as things happen in life, we ran out of space and had to spill over to other areas of the restaurant.Pauline was very understanding of the situation and accommodated us in a friendlyManner because she understood that everyone was fasting and the priority should be on having a good experience. If you're the owner or director of this restaurant you should give Pauline a promotion, raise, or at least buy her lunch!“
“I go there for indian/pakistani drinks. You must try Injeer Faloda, Pink tea and definitely Masala Chai (with sugar). Not very good in terms of food but tea and dessert a very nice place.Parking: Very busy! Specially duran month of Ramadan after 8:30“
“First to be clear, this is not the original Dindigul Thalapakatti. But the best seeraga samba biriyani you could get in Toronto. I tried both chicken and mutton biriyani, they were fantastic, rich in spices. Price is bit high, but the taste justified it. Also the gravy they give with the biriyani was splendid.“
“I had my son's Aqeeqah event. Everything went really smoothly. The Manager Seraj was very helpful and hospitable. The food was excellent. We had some vegan guests and the manager was especially accommodating to provide the food separately on their table. Feedback for all the food from guests were excellent, especially the veggie samosa, daal, chicken korma, firni, chai to name a few dishes.“
“Was in the mood for some "doubles" so we decided to give this restaurant a try. We were not disappointed. The doubles were great, and so was the "goat roti". The service was very friendly and prompt. If you're in Scarborough and in the mood for some West Indian cuisine, you should definitely come to Amira's. You won't be disappointed.Parking: We visited on the weekend and we managed to find parking easily.“
“They came highly recommended for Kolkata style kathi rolls from a fellow Calcuttan! And must I say they delivered. These taste closest to the ones from Kolkata and we were transported back home! They accommodated our special requests as well. Cannot wait to order again. Only wish the portion of fries was a bit more.“
“10/10. Best Indian food I've had in my life, the service was phenomenal and the owner is a really great guy, very hospitable. I would 100% recommend eating here if you're in the Toronto area. Came here on vacation and ate here, looking forward to coming back next time I'm up there.“
“Small changes to the side order menu. Still the same delicious, flavourful roti, doubles and jerk chicken. All at very reasonable prices and portion. Call ahead to order but there are some seats inside if you'dlike to wait. Lots of free parking spots.“
“Till now me and my friends had tried our various restaurants for Indian pakistan cuisine. No one can come close to what this place offers. Best food and very affordable prices. If you miss home you better come here. Most importantly Customer service is the best.“
“Place was good. Just got some Karak chai to go. More expensive than your regular places..tims..even starbucks.... Their large tea for $5+ which is a small anywhere.A window cleaner was mopping the high windows by the entrance...almost seemed like he was in your space there.“
“Anna Roti House is one of the best option for lunch and dinner. There all foods are very delicious and healthy. This is very well decorated with colourful lights and atmosphere is calm. The prices of their foods are comparatively reasonable. So,this will be a great option for everyone......“
“*Desimane (Brand owned by Orignial Sangeetha Chennai) old taste is back*.I am very happy to put this review.I ordered a Pongal and Onion Rava Dosa.Pongal - Authentic South Indian taste. The coconut chutney taste is very good. Most suitable right from Kids to Seniors.Onion Rava Dosa - It was crispy and tasty. The variety of chutneys are good. The consistency of Sambar was very good with taste.Must try. 5 Stars. I repeat.“
“Dear Mirchi Dhaba Restaurant,I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for your thoughtful message and the extra effort you put into accommodating my request. Your kindness in replacing the saag with palak paneer and the sweet smiley face truly made my day. Your food and service have always been exceptional, and this experience only reaffirms why I love ordering from you. Thank you for your excellent service and attention to detail.“
“This place is awesome for take out. Authentic Indian snacks with reasonable prices. This place also provides Tiffin service with hygiene and in professional manner. Best thing is it opens from 2pm- 2am. Best place for night owls like me… You’ll get veg as well as non veg options there.“
“This place is the best if you want spice (I drank 3 glasses of water for the chicken lolipop) I really love comig here constantly. You can bring kids too. I love eating Chicken Lolipop and Hakka Noodles, honestly there is nothing I don't like.Vegetarian options: There is a place on the menu for vegetarian'sKid-friendliness: They have a small menu for kids.“
“What an epic place to eat -- tasty and healthy meal. We have tried multiple things such as chicken Tikka roll, kebab roll, shahi paneer bowl etc. The chicken Tikka roll is my go to. The flavors are on point, the spice doesn't take away from the flavors. And the bread that they use... wow! The bread is fresh, not chewy and doesn't take over the filling. And the best part is that they use genuine green chutney that our we are use to of at our homes! It is amazing to have a roll that is not filled with coleslaw to fill the empitness. If you order chicken you get chicken and not salad with 2 -3 piece chicken! We have tried so many rolls that claim to be authentic or desi style but it nothing truly compares except for these guys. Hands down the best in town and I can finally say we have something straight from Delhi that is equally good if not better.“
“Just had one of the best chicken biryanis at this place at an amazing price point. Only issue would be is that the store calls me after I leave with my order to tell me I picked up the wrong order. When in fact I checked before leaving the store if it was my order even going as far as opening the container. So they clearly cannot keep track of orders when they were not that busy either. Also the interior needs a huge renovation & upkeep starting with the choice in interior paint colour, PINK?! Really!? The plaza is also dimly lit in a sketchy part of town! Aside from these issues the food quality and quantity it’s GREAT! MUST TRY!!!“
“I recently dined at this Indian restaurant and was blown away by the fabulous and amazingly flavorful food. What sets it apart is the perfect balance of spices – not too overwhelming, unlike some upscale places that can upset your stomach. It's a hidden gem that I absolutely love, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. A delightful dining experience overall!“
“Great local community restaurant! If you blink driving bye you might miss it. Very unassuming place for great food. The pepper shrimp, wings, wonton soup and ginger fried rice are my personal favourite.Friendly staff. Truly a family establishment.“
“We were at Jeyam today and tried their food for the first time and will say that we were very impressed with the food and the service by Nish. The food was delicious, the place is very cleanliness.Highly recommend Jeyam and we are already planning to go back. Thank you for a great experience.“
“Place is busy. It’s a family run business so you expect some behind the scenes scenarios. Not real order tracking statement in place when you order it. It’s your word against theirs. Good idea to keep a note of the time and date you ordered your food and the name of who took your order otherwise you can be turned away ann’s next thing you know you are forced to serve your guests pizza instead of Indian African menu. It happen to me once but that was only once in last 100 times I have ordered so I have learnt to take as much as information from the person taking my order. What I don’t like and would like them to changed in their practice is the greed. You charge $15 in an average for a dish and things like samosas and kababs could be $24 dozen and some meat champs can be as much as $36 dozen cash no credit card facility and you charge extra if we want a little extra chutney. Now you get sorry little plastic container for 2 samosa and the same amount of chutney if you buy a dozen that’s not fair. Please work on that. And we know you are not paying taxes that you are owed. You don’t want CRA knocking your doors because you pissed someone off a container of chutney. It’s not worth the pain. Trust me uncle.“
“Delicious Indian food packed with amazing flavour and spices.. it’s my second time in 2 weeks ordering from them and it definitely won’t be my last. The portion and prices are great.Staff are extremely polite and welcoming.Thank you Biryani Nation! ✌??“
“Ordered 2 Veg Thalis and 1 garlic naan through DoorDash. Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka Masala, Jeera Aloo and Chana were very good. Dal Makhani is not bad. Kofta gravy was good but Kofta not good. Kheer simple and nice. Naan and garlic naan were big but a little under cooked. Can improve on packaging as paneer gravy spilled over into kheer. The salad was not fresh and Rice also not appealing, didn't try. Two thali's good for 3 or 4 people with extra naan. Overall satisfied. Value for money.“
“Great experience at the store. The setting was very peaceful and had Bollywood movies playing, which will be something that Bollywood enthusiasts will definitely love to experience while eating here. The customer experience was great, and I really enjoyed talking with the owner during our time there. The taste was exceptionally good. The hum tum and chicken dishes were extremely tasty, and the egg dishes were cooked very perfectly and presented in very creative ways compared to other stores I've seen. However, the price felt a bit more expensive compared to similar stores for the portion sizes that were given. For example, we received 12 dollars worth of chicken for very tiny pieces of curry chicken in a lot of broth. If you like egg dishes and want to try indian cuisine cooked in rich spices, this place is definitely worth a visit. ?“
