I had heard great things about Jikoni Grill, and they absolutely lived up to the reviews.
I was really missing my late Mom's cooking and decided to give them a try. I ordered the masala fish, daal, chicken curry with rice, and chicken samosas.
Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. The food was so comforting that it brought back wonderful memories of my Mom's home cooking—a feeling that's hard to find.

Mom and Pop operated gem for East African style Indian take-out food. Excellent quality! Friendly helpful service from this older couple. Beef ribs, mishkaki (marinated beef chunks), tandoori offerings, mogo (cassava), etc., located on Warden Ave, just north of the 401. I will drive there from the west side of Toronto for their food and will pick up a variety of authentic dishes, very reasonably priced to keep my fridge stocked for a few days.
