“This place has a lot of comfortable seating and coffee and Filipino food and also Western food, but I prefer the Filipino food. It's more authentic because the people that who work there some of them are Filipino chefs. There's one lady who works there named Chod filler and she is extremely friendly and makes us feel very welcome every time we come here. It is a very nice restaurant at fair prices“

“At the st. Catharine’s location at the Pen Center. I’m here with my daughter. Had the wings and fries and the dessert Divide and conquer Belgian Waffle! The service is amazing but it’s a large place so we did approach the counter right away. It’s beautiful and clean. So many delicious things on the menu to choose! I highly recommend it!“

“Went, for the first time, to the recent one in Staines today. Super friendly and wonderful customer service overall! My boyfriend and I was served by Sarah and she was lovely! The food was divine (had the chicken kebab wrap) and the gelato was lush! Highly recommend!!“

“Noticed how beautiful and clean the outside is, and the inside is just as nice. A little more on the pricey side for breakfast but worth it. The coffee is nice for people who don't like very sweet coffee. I got the iced creme brulee and it was fantastic. Service is amazing. If you're on the edge of coming here, I definitely would. The eggs were some of the best I've ever tried! Bathrooms very clean. 9.5/10! I'll be back.“

“The drink menu is huge and makes it so hard to choose what to get. Lots of interesting flavor combinations that I haven’t really seen anywhere else. Service is quick and drinks come out looking great but taste wise it’s really lacking in coffee and tastes too milky.“

“Great little place, I’ve been coming for a long time and the coffee, food and ambiance are terrific.
The couple who own it are so friendly.
Truly a gem in a part of town inhabited by big chains like Starbucks or Tim’s.
Their breakfast sandwiches are great, as are the donuts and date squares.
Great patio seating area for the summer with a nice view.“

“Spotted this new cafe across from work! I think Sudden Summer Café has only been open for 2 months (according to the Google reviews). It is mainly a takeout joint for now- they are available on UberEats and FanTuan delivery apps.
We were warmly greeted by an older lady (she was the chef). She spoke to us in Cantonese and offered us a seat. At this time, there was only one table good for 2-4 people and 2 bar seats facing the front. There was also a younger lady who took care of FOH, made the drinks, and got takeout orders ready for delivery.
The menu was easy to read, and it had a lot of mouthwatering photos! I literally want to try everything😋😋 We opted in for the eel with scrambled eggs on rice, and the tomato with scrambled eggs on rice - both tasty :) I also enjoyed my Mango Coconut Sago drink with my meal, though I do dislike the paper straw (it wilted, and I am only 1/3 into my drink lol).
Overall, still a very enjoyable meal. They are still quite new; so definitely need more time to run everything smoothly. I'm excited about this new addition- finally a new lunch spot with afforable meals!“

The Food was the best I've ever had at that very spot. The burger🍔 was ★GREAT★!!! The poutine was ★GREAT★ too!
The Burger🍔 was super filling for Me, My Missus ate the poutine n' was full uP with Me only eating a few bits. I also got the onion rings because I didn't think the Burger🍔 was going to be So Filling! We left with more than ½ of the box of onion rings n' a last few sips of a drink We shared.
There's LOTS of options to drink at this spot. Beer, wine, coolers n' a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks for kids n' those who don't drink.
Well I've said enough but I don't know about the prices because I was sitting n' eating with Our 6 ½ month old Daughter n' My Missus Loves to use the card💳 because of all the optimum points📈 We get every time it's used.
But it seemed fair priced for being at a zoo.
After all the walking it's the Perfect spot, there's a hut 🛖 like structure but without walls of course n' a spot right around the corner with loads of picnic🧺 tables to eat at, all covered by tree's🌳🌲 so it's all shaded.
Get the kids out of the heat well they eat. The Rhinos 🦏 🦏 are right there to look at well eating.
Plus there's 🚻,🚮 n'♻️ there.
I hope this helps with someone's visit to the Toronto Zoo when they're hot n' hungry with kids or without.“

“I ordered this baked pork chop rice for $10 flat. No tax. Tipping at your discretion. Good portion size and it also comes with a complimentary drink. The prices of their dishes are all very reasonable, mostly around the $9-$12 mark.
The pork chop rice is great because the rice has been stir fried then baked, which makes it more tasty. The pork chop itself was full of meat and minimal fat, not overly fried.
Keep in mind this is a food court with no service and a limited number of tables.“

“I’ve been visiting this Tim Hortons for several decades, and it has become much more than just a place to grab a coffee. It serves patients, families, visitors, volunteers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals throughout the day. Opening as early as 5:00 a.m. and staying open until 11:00 p.m., it provides a valuable service to everyone who comes through the hospital.
One thing I especially appreciate is having a familiar place where patients and families can take a short break during what is often a stressful or emotional time. Sometimes a simple cup of coffee, a warm smile, or a kind conversation can mean more than we realize.
My only suggestion would be to continue emphasizing kindness and empathy in every customer interaction. This is not a typical Tim Hortons. Many customers may be dealing with illness, waiting for loved ones, or working long and demanding shifts. A little extra patience and compassion can truly brighten someone’s day.
Overall, I have had many positive experiences here over the years, and I appreciate having this Tim Hortons as part of the Centenary Hospital community. Keep up the great work!

“Came here for lunch on a Saturday late afternoon. Haven't had ying yang fried rice for a long time. Also ordered deep fried chicken wings with fries on the special. Portion is huge for the rice. Always enjoy their Chinese soup. Seating is very comfortable and the waitresses are very nice.“

“Loved the atmosphere and overall vibe at Unplug including service. I ordered chicken lollipop as an appetizer, along with a drink, fries, chapati, and Mughlai chicken for the main course. Everything was nice and well-presented. However, I personally felt that the Mughlai chicken was very creamy and slightly lacking in flavour. I’m not sure if that’s the intended taste, but it didn’t feel very authentic to me.
A small suggestion: when serving authentic Indian dishes, it might help to ask guests what kind of flavour profile they prefer. Some customer might be expecting a more traditional, spiced Indian-style curry rather than a milder, creamier version and don’t know which one they should order.
Just sharing this as feedback. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and the place has a great ambiance.“
