I recently tried the food from Big Boss Jerk, a Caribbean takeout restaurant in Whitby. They offer popular dishes like Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Oxtail, Roti, Jamaican Patties, and much more.My friends and I had a few dishes and enjoyed all the food. My family and I had three different large platters for dinner and enjoyed them all thoroughly! The portions were large and the food was tasty. I do think it may not be the most "authentic" jerk chicken I have eaten, but nonetheless the food was tasty and good value!

The place is take out only and the food is worth the wait. I always get the oxtail stew dinner with pineapple corn salsa, coleslaw and rice and peas. I also recommend the jerk chicken dinner and oxtail gravy. The gravy is so yummy. My husband and I always split the oxtail combo and it makes a couple meals for us. Try this place and you won't be disappointed!
