I recently went to Calypso Queen in Whitby for lunch with a friend. They specialize in Guyanese style Chinese food. Between the two of us, we ordered much more than we could eat, just to try the food. We had Beef with Broccoli, Singapore Noodles, Roast Duck, and Ginger Green Onion Chicken. I usually go on my lunch break every day. Best bang for your money. Great atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Great tasting food. Authentic Guyanese Chinese cuisine. Also have alcohol and very cozy too. Dine in or take out. I love that the food isn't oily like most restaurants now days. Extremely generous amount of food for the money. Well worth it. A must try. Will recommend them if you're looking for great food and service and wonderful staff to discuss your food options.
