“My first time here using Too Good To Go app, the plate was generous and delicious. I really enjoyed the pasta. I went up the wrong entrance, so I called and they were helpful guiding me to other set of stairs (closer towards highland farms). Noticed a bbq drum stored at the wrong entrance, i can't wait for summertime bbq!!! I had to wait a bit (10-15 min) for the food but it came out hot and delicious!“

“Went here for Caribana weekend on Saturday and it's was a vibe! We got real soca ppl in the house making it live and festive! The music was on point. It was exactly what we were looking for.

The kitchen was open late so we were able to get food as well. The food was also exactly what I wanted and everything was outside because they're renovating the space.

The server we had was super busy as with all the servers because the place was packed but she was attentive and had good energy.

This wasn't our first experience at this spot and have always had good time but this weekend during Caribana weekend hit the spot!

“This is a beautifully designed hotel, a local/international hotspot, and is run by the most thoughtful, competent staff. It really offers something special and unique, and if you want to be in the entertainment district, the location is ideal. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and well, entertainment.

While I love this hotel, there are a few issues to be aware of.
-For me, the most crucial is that while this hotel is very fun and makes me feel young and celebratory, I don’t sleep well here, especially if it’s the weekend. The rooms aren’t sound proof and are only moderately light proof. Ask for ear plugs when you check in. I’ve stayed in high rooms, low rooms, cozy and large—and haven’t slept well in any of them.
-another hassle is parking if you’re driving here. This area of Toronto is a nightmare for driving and parking. I reserved a spot with spot hero app, but gps couldn’t get me there with the various driving restrictions. It took me a very frustrating hour to park, so if you’re taking a taxi, great, if you’re driving, expect a bit of a challenge.
-my final gripe is the booking experience. I go to Ace’s website, and it offers me various promotions and prompts me to log in, but inevitably the promotions aren’t actually available and choosing a room/rate isn’t clear or easy. Since Ace isn’t part of a big chain and booking as an ace member doesn’t benefit me, I’ve booked through the hotelTonight app. Its rate was over $100 less than the best rate offered by Ace. The only limitation is that you’ll likely be put in a tiny, ‘cozy’ room and can’t pay more for a larger room. I haven’t stayed in a suite here, but the large room isn’t so spacious, just bigger than cozy and there’s no bath until you go to suite, so hotelTonight makes sense for this hotel.“

“The music at this venue was amazing; the ambiance was lovely, cozy and intimate - our waitress Ava was wonderful and gave us really great recommendations for food. We got the sliders and the tuna crudo and LOVED both. Tried a few of the martinis and they were made perfectly & ice cold. Highly recommend this place for music lovers or a cozy date night. Thanks for a great evening!“

“Great KTV spot! The environment is clean, cozy, and fun — perfect for group hangouts. The sound system is solid, and the food and drinks are surprisingly good for a karaoke place. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy singing with friends!“

“I recently visited Clockwork for a beautiful tea for a close friend's big birthday celebration. There was a great selection of teas and delicious treats, including gluten-free and nut-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was perfect, and everyone had a wonderful time. Before the tea, I emailed Elise to make sure everything was perfect. She was very lovely and accommodating. The staff members Gemma and Leah were nice but also incredibly attentive, making our celebration even more special. The whole experience was great. I would highly recommend it!“

“Stopped by CC Lounge & Whisky Bar in Toronto and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is super cool, dimly lit, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed night out or catching up with friends. It has that cozy, upscale lounge vibe without feeling too formal. The drinks were really well done, with a great selection to choose from. Everything we had was smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. Overall, a great spot for good drinks and a laid-back but elevated atmosphere. If you’re serious about your martinis, 43 Down is a must-visit. The cocktails are impeccably balanced, served bone-chillingly cold, and presented with a level of sophistication that’s hard to find elsewhere in Toronto.
The atmosphere is moody and upscale—perfect for a post-work drink or a nightcap. Highly recommend The 43rd for something unique, or a classic dry gin martini if you want to see them do the basics perfectly. Don't skip the truffle fries!“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“LOVE smoking not permitted in public areas, so nice breathing clean fresh air while i dance and hang. clean, good sound, cool pool area, i also loved the tables with big umbrellas, you can dance under the shade . one of the best venues ive ever been to, cant wait to go back sometime“

“Great place to play Billiards its really clean and they use disinfectants to clean the tables and everything else. I enjoyed my time here even before the pandemic and the waiters and staff are great to. The food and drinks were great. Friends liked the place to. “We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the ambience and attention to detail at the Broadview. It was beautifully remodeled, but still had unique historic detail and touches everywhere. Our room was perfect and included a record player and a vinyl library on our floor! I appreciate things like the well stocked mini bar and quality toiletries. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. There was a water shut down issue on the street that was completely out of the hotels control and they compensated us with a discount, even though it was not their fault. It had really cozy and charming Christmas vibes too! We cannot wait to go back.“

“First time at this place last night and it was pretty fun! The room we had was pretty big considering the amount of people we had in our party. The karaoke machine had awesome selection for English, K-pop and other languages! I will say the microphones didn’t work at first through first 3 songs we did. The dart machine on our room had only one dart that wasn’t broken so if you wanna have people playing the darts you should fix that for sure. And the washrooms were pretty smelly in my opinion. Overall I still had a good time!“

“The Real Jerk has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and to this day it’s still one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. My parents have known the owners for years, and every visit feels like coming back to family.

It doesn’t matter if I stop in for lunch, dinner, or meet up with friends—the service is always top-notch. The staff are welcoming, always smiling, and consistently make you feel at home.

The food never disappoints. My go-to dishes are the jerk chicken and the oxtail, and the portions are always generous. I also can’t leave without getting the wings or a bowl of their incredible red pea soup. Everything is packed with authentic Jamaican flavor and made with care.
