I’m going to start by saying the song selection is what got me. We kept thinking of random tracks and somehow they were there, even the older ones people usually joke about and never find. That made the whole room feel loose right away. Also helped that the mics sounded full instead of harsh, so even bad singing came out kind of charming. The place looked tidy too, which matters more than people admit when you’re passing microphones around 🎤
