love the soups and dumplings.
I ordered the jerk chicken and a soup. The soup was good, but the chicken was definitely not jerk chicken. It was over-roasted chicken with no jerk seasoning on it.
The Real Jerk has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and to this day it’s still one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. My parents have known the owners for years, and every visit feels like coming back to family.
It doesn’t matter if I stop in for lunch, dinner, or meet up with friends—the service is always top-notch. The staff are welcoming, always smiling, and consistently make you feel at home.
