Mona's Roti was so good! My friend put me onto this spot over two years ago and I'm honestly mad at myself for sleeping on it this long lol, finally pulled up today and wish I'd come sooner.
Got the goat doubles as a side and they were perfectly fluffy and savory, and the jerk chicken had me thanking God for food discoveries and globalization fr, the amount of flavor options we get access to now is a blessing. Will definitely be back, already thinking about what to try...read full review

Mona's Roti offers exceptional food made on the premises, featuring vegetarian options like Bussup shot. The quality remains above average, even as prices have increased. Take out is recommended due to limited seating. Customers particularly enjoy the boneless beef roti and look forward to trying other favorites like dhalpuri roti or paratha.
Recent reviews highlight the deliciousness of the food, with one customer mentioning the nice bara and thick-bodied chana in the doubles, noting it is a great choice for those who enjoy Debe doubles from Trinidad. Another customer appreciated the fresh, hot food, especially the paratha with goat, channa, and spinach, along with the vegetarian medley of potato, pumpkin, and channa. They also found the staff accommodating when adding to their order. However, there are comments about the sauce selection being a bit lacking, with requests for cucumber chutney and shadow beni. While the food is praised, some customers noted that service can sometimes be slow. The soca music adds to a pleasant atmosphere while waiting. Overall, customers are eager for their next visit.
