I have been coming to The Roti Lady for over a decade, though years ago she was on Queen St W. Best roti in Toronto that I have found and reminds me of the rotis I ate in Trinidad. Just amazing!
Chicken roti had good flavour, but they should cut up the chicken pieces smaller. The customer area is quite dirty and cluttered, which naturally didn't leave a good impression with me about food safety and hygiene and overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
this is my favourite roti place in the gta, and I've tried many of them! their vegan plate is delicious. i haven't tried their meat options so i can't speak to it, but they treat vegetables correctly here. the paratha is also delicious!

Roti Lady offers delicious and flavourful roti, doubles, and jerk chicken at reasonable prices. The menu includes curry chicken and stew chicken roti, known for their generous portions. The curries are piping hot and made to order, so a short wait is expected. The spicy flavors are worth it, but customers should watch out for bones. The large curry chicken roti is especially popular, with fresh, juicy chicken that has a good spice level. The roti is hand-made and grilled to perfection, giving it a tasty aroma. Many visitors say it reminds them of the rotis they ate in Trinidad and consider it the best roti in Toronto. The portions are big, and the prices are affordable, with a large roti and drink costing around $16.95. It is a great spot for an affordable and tasty meal in the GTA, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
