“After an evening walk in Port Credit, we decided to treat ourselves to a Mexican dinner and found El Mariachi in Streetsville, which is just a short drive from our home.

We had a wonderful dining experience! The shrimp ceviche paired perfectly with the margarita, making for a refreshing start to our meal. My 8-year-old daughter absolutely loved the Chicken Tinga tacos, and it was great to see her enjoy every bite.

The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel right at home.

“Me and my boyfriend went to Contigo for the first time last weekend. We got the jerk chicken burrito bowl and 4 veggie taco deal (sweet potato, falafel, mushroom, and black beans) on corn tostadas. As a vegetarian, I felt like there was a lot of veg options to choose from and I really enjoyed trying different variety of tacos. We also got the mango Jarrito drink as well as a tres leches milk cake. Everything was pretty affordable and came quick. There’s also music blasting, the World Cup playing, and pure good vibes!! Steak was incredible, hot salsa was awesome, hot sauce was spicy and flavourfull. “Usually I wouldn’t even enter a barburrito… they have such subpar options. But this franchise location is so great!

This is a halal restaurant. And I don’t just mean that the proteins are halal, which they are. But I mean that the Uncle that works there isn’t penny pinching just to increase margins… he really cares about the customer experience and gives incredible value for the price you pay. I feel like he even sneaks on add-ons for free without even mentioning it. And I don’t even think he was necessarily having a great day either 😂. He’s just ethical and generous.

Even the young man that works here was so polite and friendly.
