“This place is a hidden gem. The food tasted so good. Ordered a Chicken Doner plate which came with Salad, Rice and the super fresh bread which was baked in house.

“Hey Toronto friends, if you're looking to try some real Turkish cuisine, you've got to check out Mama Fatma! This place is a treasure for the most authentic Turkish flavors in the city. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. It's like you're stepping into a home in Turkey. The staff are super friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to the food. And speaking of the food... the 'Shashlik' was amazing! Perfectly spiced and every bite felt like a taste of Turkish street food. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommend Mama Fatma to anyone in Toronto craving a taste of Turkish cuisine. I'll definitely be going back!“

“As first-timers to Uyghur cuisine, we had a great experience. We ordered the lamb kebab and stir-fried beef noodles, and both were delicious and have tender meat. The friendly owner also came out to check on us and even gave us a complimentary sample of the lamb shank pilaf, which we really appreciated.

A small improvement in service would make the experience even better, as the initial service from the lady server could have been a bit more welcoming and attentive. We were told to seat ourselves but weren’t given any explanation/recommendation of the menu or ordering system. We also had to ask for water and utensils, which I believe are basic service essentials.

Overall, the food was excellent, and we’d be happy to return.“

“We’ve been coming here for 14 years now, and honestly, it’s still the best. The food is always incredible and the service is so friendly every single time we walk in. Over the years, we’ve gotten to know the owner, and you won't find a better guy. He truly cares about his customers and makes you feel like family. The only thing missing? A location in Burlington! We are patiently waiting for them to finally open a spot closer to us, but until then, it is 100% worth the drive. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out.“
